Where is the chemistry? I like the characters but it just doesn't work.

I was hoping this movie was starting slow and going to get good , it did not it when down and down and down. The only good thing of the movie was the guy wraped his ride around a tellphone/hydo pole killing her, when she... about some colour of a rooms paint and we all know the only guy's that that give two... about paint coulour do not , do not, get married to women anymore.

Awful acting, very boring, ended up leaving, and haven't ever left a movie before... YAWN!

It is a romantic, true-to-life love story. Well worth seeing & Eckhart does very well; is often emotional & sentimental with Jennifer Anisten playing an excellent part in helping his own grief recovery. She is really pretty while he is very handsome!

Terrible acting, flat characters & pointless plot. I kept waiting for something to happen and the story to get exciting but it didn't happen. Don't bother wasting your time or money on this one.

This is more of a personal, self-conquering drama than a romantic drama. It deals with grief in a realistic way. I enjoyed it!

This movie was OKAY. There were some really sad scenes that made me cry. For the most part it was your regular predictable love story. It was a nice chick flick to watch with a girlfriend.

Love Happens was a great movie because there were hidden messages within the movie and it showed you the different ways people grieve.

First of all the title could have been better or a bit more creative... but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. This is not a Jennifer Anniston vehicle but a story of messed up people who are hiding from themselves and life in general. Anniston is likeable and Eckart is unaccessible but then again so is the soul of his character. I'm a bit surprised by some of the reviews on this forum, a bit superficial I might add. This movie is about the humain condition that some of us have gone through or will experience. Recommended for those with a bit of soul.

I enjoyed this movie, I was not expecting a tear-jerker, and was unprepared (no kleenex)!! Jennifer Aniston is not the greatest of actresses, but I do like watching her, and I loved her co-star!

This was a horrible, boring waste of time. This is not a comedy, that's for sure. It was only halfway finished when I wanted, but didn't, walk out of the theatre -- I'd spent $13 to waste some afternoon time -- and I got exactly what I paid for. Aniston has no charm or Cheer in this movie. Don't see it because you like her; you'll be sadly disappointed...

Exceeded my expections - so much deeper than just a formula love story. Probably not for anyone who doesn't like emotional movies but I loved it because of all the emotions it evoked.

I was touched by the story and the delicacy of the subject when it comes to death. The acting was great and the choice of actors was very nice. I can only imagine what one goes trough when losing someone because of sickness or an accident or under many other circumstances. We are so powerless and we can't seem to help but blame ourselves for so many reasons. That is why it's important to live today and love, share and appreciate the people that surrounds us. For those of you that has lost someone, you are not alone.

A good movie about our personal losses & the pain we dont know how to get rid of on our own. And it also showed how life will give us a second chance if we arent afraid to take it. I thought it was nice not to see Jen & Aaron hop in the sack, kinda refreshing & totally not needed. Would like to see more movies like this.

Sappy and boring, this movie can be ditched to the rental shop. Save your money and time. Aniston's character is so predictable and uninteresting, as of course is the very unattractive with no character of Echhart. I thought he was excellent in that "Thank You for Smoking" documentary, but here he just lacked everything charismatic.

I found that Jennifer was the co-star. Yes, a Big star like Jennifer co-starred! Long, boring. My psychology could have played the part better. When will they come up with better movies?

I found it boring, especially after I was so excited to see it based on the very cute, very well done commercial. With that said, the commercial does pretty much display everything that is going to happen in the movie. I can, however, see why it would be appealing to certain audiences. Regardless, it's not a movie to see in the cinema, wait for it on video if you really want to see it.

Good movie about life and how things that happen to us can really affect us in a dramatic way - often without us even recognizing or knowing. It is a movie about relationships and how we deal with them. Also about having a "second chance" when life knocks us down. I thought the actors did a great job!

For me, this movie is better than "Marley & Me"... I'm a huge Aniston fan, initially put off by bad reviews, but went to see it anyway. My husband & I went in with no expectations and enjoyed it as a Friday nite movie. But it's Martin Sheen's acting that brought a tear to me...

This movie was horrible. Leading man should not have had this role. It was depressing... Jennifer had the same role as usual. I can't believe this made the theatres!!! Don't waste your money!!!

So bad, so cheesy, why waste money on such productions... And No, it is not a chik flick, not at all. And No, there is no love there despite the movie title. My friend and I could not stop sarcastic comments at parts where we were "supposed" to cry, so unbelievable and badly acted this movie was...

Perhaps I've seen one too many Aniston flicks, but I couldn't see or feel the chemistry between the lead characters in this one. I like both actors, but together, they didn't seem to match as much as I would have hoped they would. The story was alright and the supporting cast wasn't bad; but again only alright. A good rental but nothing worth rushing to the BiG screen to see.

Such a good, sweet movie. Proves that Hollywood can make one without sex and filthy language. Wish they'd make more without all that stuff as I really think the majority of the population doesn't like it. We also should be a better example to our youth. This movie does that.

Beginning was alright, then the plot slowly started to DIE! She only did it for the money and he's not a leading man. Oh and on top of that bad directing. Scenery in Vancouver was nice but they called it Seattle. I almost grew a pair of testicles and I'm a female who was up for a chick flick.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] A pretty good romantic drama film, I was hesitant on seeing after seeing the initial rating it received by Rotten Tomatoes. I must admit, if you aren't one for death, or mourning, and even romance this isn't for you. I found the title a little bit redundant, seeing as the film seem more focused on the loss of a loved one, but I suppose in any situation love can happen. I've read a lot of people comment on the awkwardness between the characters in the movie, but I have to say that is just reality, and it was good. There were funny parts (the parrot & the discovery that she isn't deaf) scene and their were sad parts. It was an overall a good movie.

A very enjoyable way to spend an hour and 49 minutes! Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Aniston are very believable as successful people with something (a meaningful relationship) missing. Fortunately they keep their believability once they find each other. Martin Sheen does an admirable job with a very limited part (could have been expanded) Cinematography, script and editing are all first rate!

Well... I expected a light romance, and got that. What I didn't expect was the film's depth. I really enjoyed it. A couple of small items were cliche' but there was much more far from cliche'. It's always interesting to see how script writers make characters meet, and this didn't disappoint. The deeper themes were handled in a way that, frankly, I found quite believable. A well-worth-seeing film. I give it a very solid 8. Go. Enjoy.
