Good movie for those who enjoy underdog movies. Younger glimpse of Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, C. Thomas Howell, Erin Gray and Lea Thompson at the beginning of their careers.

I believe this film is nothing short of the Right's wet dream come to cinematic reality. The fact that the movie was made at the height of Ronald Reagan's presidency only amplifies it. It had some interesting action sequences, plenty of blood and guts spilled (not American of course) and an opportunity to show that America is the sole protector of freedom in the world. A fine example of Cold War propaganda and an excellent period piece of right wing bilge. Otherwise do not watch unless you are really compelled to do so.
