I actually liked the movie alot especially the little moral at the end of the story which is really well made and got to me. Anyhow, maybe the negative comments regard seeing the movie at the theater and not living upto some expectations but either way on DVD it's worth the rental.

This movie was alright, although no where near the caliber that some people rated it on here. I thought it had an interesting story line, it could have been developed a bit better, but I liked it none the less. A note to the director, drop the cheesy lines like "I loved you since the first day I saw you", they're cliche and totally kill whatever mood you're trying to set.

Oh, man, I am so upset that I saw this movie. A conceited bimbo journalist "finds" herself, and it's a slob cameraman... And what was with the rest of the cast? Her sister is a waste of... well, she's a waste, and you have no affection for anyone? Guys, if you go see this movie, you WILL hate it, but you will score points with your lady. See this movie, and go to a steakhouse, that is fair. This movie is hardly a decent rental.

I really think that is the best movie ever and I really liked it, I really tell you guys you should go and see it, ride a way, and I am telling you, it is not a good movie for kids, there is a lot of sexually parts.

This movie is so sad. It makes you realize there is more to life than making big bucks! It's a feel good type of movie.

I thought it was a great movie. The comparison to a perfect life, to life as a bum is great.

This movie is pretty much what you would expect of it; light-hearted, predictable fare. It's not a total waste of time, but I wouldn't see it twice.

This movie is meant to be seen by all the west islanders who can't see past their parasuco jeans and their guess tops. The people who spend more time preparing themselves for life, rather than living it.

This movie is about life. I think everyone should see it. It teaches us how the little things in life matter more than our jobs and our clothes and all the other bullsh! T out there. It also says: enjoy life as much as you can, cause you never know when your day is up.

I expected a lot more out of a film starring Angelina Jolie and Ed Burns. The story was kind of deja-vu and, as it advanced, predictable too. LIFE OR SOMETHING LIKE IT could've been SOMETHING more. Overall, I rate it a 7.5 on 10. This is not the worst film out there, but it isn't the greatest one either. After seeing the commercial for this film, one would expect to see SOMETHING out of the ordinary. Well, this film is quite ordinary. Bottom line: This is your usual comedy/romance film.
