It was the suckiest movie I ever seen.

Well... let me think... I'm sorry, but this movie wasn't very good at all. The acting was poor, especially by Kurt Russel. The storyline would have been alright, if it had been giving an ENDING! This deserves no more than a 6, so I'll give it a 5.

Kurt Russel was great as usual. Overall, I expected better. Go see it if you like Kurt and you enjoy a realistic action movie but don't expect the moon.

I essentially went to see this movie for Kurt Russell, I like him as an actor. He didn't disappoint. But unfortunately his performance alone was not enough to keep me interested in this film. The storyline was done a million times before but the point that the movie tried to bring across was interesting. I just didn't think that it needed 2 hours to tell. I found myself constantly looking at my watch and that is never a good sign. Sorry, but not a movie I'd recommend.

Sorry, but I couldn't get past the first hour and actually walked out. If you enjoy dialogue made up entirely of 4 letter words, go for it. If not, don't waste your time, or your money. Two thumbs DOWN!

I usually don't like violent cop movies, but the fact that this was based on the LA riots intrigued me. Although I didn't like Russel's character, he did a great job at it, as did most of the other actors. I'd recommend it.

I really liked this movie. Kurt Russell was great in it. It was extremely interesting against the background of the Rodney King incident.

This is probably the crapiest movie I have seen in decades... the movies that they had in the early 20's are better... none of these actors can act... and what a waste of time..

Finally. Finally a Kurt Russell movie of the same caliber as "Unlawfull Entry". He's back. It's awesome, I recommend it to those who like good plots and storylines. Go see this movie. I was intrigued from the very beginning, and I thought it had a lot of substance.

This movie is and was, what it is and was! Soon to be forgotten."How ugly you think its gonna get for me? " "Ugly..."Really this movie wasn't too too bad, it just didn't have much to work with. Kurt Russel was good but he really had no other known face supporting him in this movie. Ving Rhames role wasn't that big, he maybe only had a page and 1/2 of lines, but next to Kurt these were the only 2 real recognizable faces in the film. They tried to capture everything that took place in the Riots of 91'-92' L. A... they tried, near the end it comes across as if we the viewer should be disturbed by the movie and the corruption of the L. A. P. D but the movie just wasn't written well enough to be that powerful. I'd say if you enjoy cop drama's then you might like this one, but wait till rental. Oh yeah, the music in this movie was ridiculously bad."Turn the suck down, and turn the good up! ".

"dark Blue" seems to follow a modern trend- recycle classic screenplays that the general public has lost interest in or has simply forgotten, place these screenplays against a more modern backdrop, add a few twists, and hope for the best. I'm not saying that "Dark Blue" is a rip-off by any means- I'm just saying that its storyline can be easily traced with that of the classic western "High Noon." These similarites are, in fact stunning. The lone lawman who nearly singlehandedly builds a town, the gang who no one wants to tackle, the complete and total lack of cooperation from the townspeople, and much more."Dark Blue" is a great movie in depicting a man's struggle with himself, with his enemies, and with his destiny. All in all, a good film.
