Uh... I'm really into horror, suspense, mystery, etc... The Exorcist, cheesiest movie ever made, I loved... This movie... It was worse than the Blair Witch Project. I'm sorry to say it, because I like the director's style and concept of the movie, but this was a real pile of crap. And no, it's not because I didn't "understand" it. It was a truly boring movie. Watch it if you're too stoned to find the remote..

Hmmm... well, it had its moments... a few creepy parts, a bit of suspense, some romance, some action, and alot of confusion... So many things are either not explained or left only partially explained, and some things seemed just too easy... but hey, it's Heath, Shannyn and Mark... these three are really good together :) So don't think to hard and just take what comes at you and it'll be good.

I would just like to say that I saw the trailer over the internet and could not wait for it to come out. I finally went and saw it, I absolutely loved the movie. I thought it was so good I went back and saw it again, I think Brian Hellgeland defintally knows what he is doing and I hope that he keep up the good work. I can't wait for this to come out on DVD. So in my opinon I think this is a well worth your time film!!! I also would like to say I love Heath Ledger... I am a great fan of his.

What a piece of *&%&&^%&%#&% here's where I began to wonder why I paid to see this film, in 2003 how does a girl who escaped from a mental institution get on a transatlantic flight? The rest of the movie is the same... tons of unexplained and never explained things happen... and to top it of, well of course the bad guy was the good guy... and the bad guy was? I fogot.

I found it interesting and well planned out. Although predictable and weak in areas. I do like this cast together though. They work very well together and have a great chemistry. Good choice on that one. I really did enjoy this movie... but for some reason am finding it difficult to explain why. Definitely one you have to be awake for.

This movie has no explosions, no wild chases no obvious villan so I can see why most people don't like it. It alo touches on religion, which is taboo with the same people. However, if u have an attention span and are not looking for mimicry or a fights in a movie, this is definitely worth the time. It is a bit weird, but it is intriguing and suspenseful at times. And the ending is not at all obvious, like in 95% of recent movies.

One of the worst movies ever made. I saw it on Cheap Night and still think it was a waste of 6 dollars. There is no mystery because the characters appear to know how to proceed at all times.

Terrible movie. It was very long, drawn out and boring. It could have been o. K, if they had done a better editing job and cut some side-line stuff out (devil spawn and the dumb sc-fi like crap coming out of people during sin-eating) which brought nothing to the plot. And it was not that confusing. Everything is cleared up by the end. Even so, it's pretty stupid. If you want to see a more realistic movie about catholiscism (and frankly more scary) go see the Magdaleine Sisters.

I really enjoyed this movie, I knew going into it that it's 90% dialog. It's not a horror movie, it's not a suspense. If you're interested at all in religion, if you for or against it, you should be interested in this movie. It questions the morals of the church and faith. I wouldn't recommend this movie to a lot of people, it's more of a movie that makes you think, it's not based on visual effects and action sequences.

So much potential lost on this one! Should not be a movie for the masses, as it requires some knowledge of Catholic religion and European history. Would be better kept for the repertoire crowd. The actors are inadequate, and the cinematography leaves to be desired. In the end, not worth seeing except if lazy movies are for you.

This movie was quite fascinating. For anyone with half a brain and a attention span longer than 2 minutes, it's def. Worth seeing. Great cinematography, acting, and surprisingly coherent story line. Religious aspect quite intriguing as well... stands out from other theatrics-fuelled "suspense" movies, relying rather on dialogue and suggested imagery.

Thought it was a great little movie, yea, sure the dialogue was a little lame at times, but overall I found it entertaining, and had a decent soundtrack to it. Casting could have been a little different, it felt like I was watching a twisted version of A Knight's Tale. I enjoyed the supernatural theme of it, and the idea that there isn't just ONE way to be absolved.

This movie was not what I expected. The rythme was slow and only those of us who like "Church Thrillers" can appreciated it. I thouht Ledger was good in the role as were all the other actors. The ending seemed to hint at a sequel but with the little success the movie had I don't think it will happen.

It was good at the start, but I SO would have change the part of what the sin eaters did... I mean ewww... it's not like I saw that part cuz I mean, I am the biggest chicken that ever lived! (for violence anyway) the acting was ok, and I have seen movie with worst diologue then that! So that didn't bug me. You people who are expecting scare, it was things that jumped out the were scray. The first 30 mins was ok scary, but after that it lost it scaryness and everything. I didn't figure out till the end of the movie that the sin eater are good! Over all it was good. I have to see it again and try to figure it out! (the perviews before the movie started were scarier than the movie)

Yes this movie was a big disapointment... it could of been a great story but know who ever was the director he did a very poor job... it was totally confusing... although we Love Ledger... don't go see this movie save your money...
