This movie was great - a lot of laughs and a great plot.

I went into the movie not knowing what to expect since I did not read any reviews. I liked it but was a bit predictable and done before. It made me laugh.

A friend & I went to see this tonight, based on mutual friends' rave reviews - a mistake. They loved it - we couldn't bear it! The characters were unsympathetic - a bunch of unlikeable, mean, selfish people doing rotten things to others in a quest for - what? Sex? Certainly wasn't love. The reviewer who commented that a few lucky patrons walked out 10 min. Into this film was right on. We sneaked into the film showing next door & enjoyed it IMMENSELY - definitely go see "About a Boy" - a real winner of a film that saved us from feeling we had wasted our time & money on this stinker.

I am really surprised that somebody had good words for this insipid film that tries very hard to be funny but misses his cue all the time. Many lucky spectators left within the first 10 minutes. We sat through the whole ordeal, hoping for another laugh (yes, we only laughed once) ! TO BE AVOIDED.

Ok, here is a warning!!! This movie is about love for older people. Like, Jurassic Park kinda old. Hot passion and 54-year olds go together like teenagers and crossword puzzles. Although it is very funny, the thought of Gramma and New Granpa getting it on, well... I should have known when we walked into the theater. The demographic was different. I am the type to do "it" in pudding, where as most of the people in the audience would do "it" FOR pudding! There was a lot of laughter in the audience, and I am sure that most of them will see it again, because in a week they will forget that they saw it. If you are my age, just say "no". But if you are a little older and a little more open minded than I am about hot gereatric lust, you will enjoy it.

Very funny and enjoyable! The audience was laughing from start to finish. Great date movie for those on the second time round.

I had fun! A story about love in adulthood, after being alone because of divorce or other... The acting is great, natural; so much it is close to real life. And the open sexual dialogue etc. Is so refreshing! Highly recommended. For 15+.
