I went into this movie expecting another ridiculous, cheesy, run-of-the-mill plot that has no real redemption in it, but I was wrong. This is a teen movie without a doubt, but it has more to offer. Several surprises (pregnancy, death, etc. ) are in this plot that are not in normal teen movie plots and they bring out the best in the movie. Mandy Moore is NOT bad in it, which is a great thing because I think she is probably a real sweetheart and I have respect for her for not taking her clothes off every chance she gets (attn. Britney and CHristina) Allison Janney is always good, and I thought the rest of the cast did an excellent job as well. No, it's not the best movie in the world, but it was a pleasant surprise to me, one of the toughest movie critics out there.

I saw it and I thought it was brilliant. Mandy Moore knows how to capture the moment and let people know who she is. I think that this movie shwos us teen girls how our first love can be the best thing but the worst thing at the same time, This movie showed me the side of love I never knew existed, in family, friends and guys.

THIS MOVIE IS Sooo STUPID. A girl in distress about love... blha blah blah obviously she's going to fall in love. It says it all in the trailer!! "GIRL HAS NO FAITH IN LOVE" THAN u see some guy... obviously you know where this movie will end? They fall in love! Pointless, love movies like these have been done and over with... If you want sappy... watch one of Mandy moores WAY better movies... a walk to remember... MOVIE IS SO BORING! Its about life, we see these things happend all the time, why the heck would we want to watch about it? It's not like its such a surprise some teenager gets pregnant or her boyfriend dies!! NEXT PLEASE...

Very disappointing. Actually, no. I shouldn't say very disappointing... because that would imply that I went to the movie with high expectations -- and that simply wouldn't be true. I went expecting a run-of-the-mill teen romance, but even in that simple expectation I was let down. The movie employed every cliche in the book -- and basically just stole scenes from other (better) movies (throwing rocks at her window? Setting off the fire alarm in the bathroom? Come on, we've seen it all before.) The bottom line: the stakes just weren't high enough for any of the characters. I never cared what happened to any of the people in this movie -- and it didn't seem like the screen-writer/director cared either. And really, nothing serious ever did happen to the characters (apart from a broken wrist, and a strange dog-humping scene) I admit that I laughed a couple of times, but mainly just sat wondering "How to Deal" with the runtime of this flick. Too long. Too boring. But luckily, just two bucks to see it.

I absolutely enjoyed this movie! I didnt expect it to be as fantastic as Mandy Moore's other movie, A Walk To Remember, but it was still pretty good and it only goes to show that Mandy Moore can actually act!! Plus, who wouldnt want to watch 2 hours of oh-so-cute newcomer Trent Ford? It might not be a mjust-see, but it's a great chick flick for anyone seeking entertainment!

I thought it was great movie... it had just the right amount of comedy, romance and drama. It also had a very well though out plot which to me seemed a bit predictable.

This movie was just about the best movie I've ever seen, still doesn't beat crossroads, but I must admit I got a little teary eyed. Congrats Mandy you really did it this time!! From TJ, your biggest fan.

Crap. It was utter crap. Really cheesy and overdramatic, and there were no funny jokes at all. Stay away from it. What a waste of hard earned money.

Mandy Moore is a very good up and coming actress. I would love to see her in a good script but this was nt it. It did have some good moments liek when her best friends boyfriend dies. That caught me oof guard but the relationship she has was just not beleavable. If I was true then she was a dope.

I was expecting more from this movie. The story seemed, at least in the previews, very touching, cute and enjoyable without be "corny". I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad movie, only, it is not a great one either. I won't tell you not to go see it, however, I will tell you to consider other movies before this one. Thank you.
