Fine for a rental but not necessary for viewing on The big screen. I actually enjoyed it more than I expected. I'm not a big George Clooney fan either. It did have some very funny parts. A relaxing view when there is nothing better to do. I found The outtakes on The DVD irritating... there were a couple that were just boring!

Wasn't impressed with The quality of The performances. Both of these actors have so much more to give The audience. Too predictable. I think this was a rushed filming.

Intolerable Cruelty was just what The title promised - but The subject of The intolerable cruelty is The viewer, not one of The characters. This movie is The worst I can recall seeing since "Lone Wolf McQuade"! Its long, intolerably boring, and a cruel waste of The talented stars. You might want to buy The VCR, though - when it comes out. If you have insomnia, I can't think of a better cure!

This wasn't a bad movie, it wasn't great either. There were parts that where fairly funny, dark humor as someone else has mentioned, and The whole movie did keep you guessing. I'd recommend it, but don't expect too much out of this movie.

I found this picture to be very funny and totally entertaining. That said I seemed to be in The minority as most of The audience sat quietly and only a handful of The audience seemed to get this movie. This picture is a modern day screwball comedy full of black humor about love, romance, marriage and divorce. The characters are over The top and so are The situations The characters find themselves in. The jokes are sometimes subtle, other times blatant and they often come in rapid succession so maybe they get missed. Perhaps audiences don't like seeing The institution of marriage and The culture of love being made The butt of jokes. I guess few find divorce to be funny, but that's why its called black humor. Its too bad audiences don't get this picture, as it deserves a much better reaction.
