I love this movie. This had to be the scariest movie I have ever seen but I watched it like 3 times in a row it is so good. The gory details, the blood, was just awesome.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I watched it twice on DVD and lots of supposed horrors lately. This was by far the creepiest experience, you really feel the terror and lose awareness of your surroundings. No kidding during the movie I wanted to lower the volume the screaming was so intense... especially near the end when Jessica enters the slaughterhouse, you feel yourself trembling. A lot of modern horrors films are predictable but this one is non stop action.

Good movie and all but it does not follow the real story of the texas chansaw massacer. The real chansaw massacer never even used a chansaw he used a 32 caliber and then he used a knife to get the skin of the humain. And he would ware it. In this movie he just killed anyone who he sees. But in real life he killed female over 50. Why? Because he hate his monther and she was over 50years old. Why did he kill people? In the movie theres was not reasons but in real life there were, he wanted to look like a femal so make a mask from a femal body and it was not because of his skin deases. Where did he learn to do that? In the movie he didn't he just did it for fun but in real life he read books, a big amount of books about skin, bones, and other parts to know what he was doing. If you like horrors movie watch this one cause its scary. If you want to learn about the texas chansaw massacer stay away from this and read about him unless if theres a movie that his coming out about the reeal texas chansaw massacer.

Very Freaky, definitely a bone chiller, an unbelievable movie that is unimaginably real, I didnt understand why someone would be crazy enough to do something like that. Wow.

My opinion about the 2003 edition is better then the one of the version out of the 70's. If you like horror movies the texas chainsaw masacre is a must and if you like beautifull women "Jessica Biel" [...]

Ok, seriously. Bad acting, alright story but not scary. NOT scary at all. Sorry to burst everyones bubble but is was extremely LOOSELY based on a true story. The real "chainsaw massacre" didn't occur in Texas, and never invovled a chainsaw. There were parts taken from several serial killers. That doesn' make the movie good though. Sorry but bad movie.

Not that scary, but it was a good movie. The only thing scary about it is the fact that it's a true story. But if you want to watch a movie with lots of gore and blood this is the one. Very violent and extremely gory. This is a must see. [...]

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I thought this movie was great. I dont ever remember thinking that much about a movie after I had left the theatre. I loved Andy (Mike Vogel) to death and it made me soo sad when Erin (Jessica Beil) had to... well, dont wanna ruin it for you, but I dont think I could do that. Some one also stated why when leatherface dropped the chainsaw, why didnt she pick it up and kill him? I totally agree and was yellin that at the screen while watching. Great movie, if you havent seen it, watch it (with a guy!!! )

I loved the movie, now I kind of want to see it again because I was hiding behind my popcorn through most of it :) It has awesome scares, I kept jumping out of my seat. Watch it now, best horror movie EVER!

Best Horror movie I have ever seen in years, scared the hell out of America just like the '74 version, I give this movie a 10 out of 10, It keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time and how the movie started and ended was perfection makes you think theo footage is so real. John Lorroquette's narration "the film which you are about to see..." just puts chills down my spine, get the movie when I comes out you aont be disapointed:)

Where do I start.. this movie was just plain sick! Anyone gross enough to actually direct this movie let alone act in it must be really sick in the head I had to sit through the movie with my jacket over my head, I felt like puking I would have left but because of my friend I had to sit there and watch it... I wouldnt even give this movie a 1 it deserves a 0!

This is the most horrible movie I have ever seen. I think the most horrible movie is not in the appearence, but in mind. This movie did it. My friend was too frightened to watch. She even got up to block the door at night to prevent the chainsaw murder. Haha. I am not a Canadian, I hope I express myself well.

This movie was amazin'... I luved it... I am a horror/suspence fanatic when it comes to movies... and this one is definitely within my top 5 movies... amazing... scares, suspence, gore, stereotypical characters... this movie has it all :) distrubing to think that it was based on a true event... the beginning 5 min and ending few were an excellent beg and wrap up to the movie as well... two thumbs way up..
