People, watch this movie. It is absolutely fantastic. The jokes fly, the acting is good but inconsequential to the overall feel of the movie. If you ever need a light movie to watch then... watch this one, guaranteed not to dissapoint.

Great send-up of the Star Trek phenomenon. Acting, directing, writing come together well to generate a lot of laughs in a suitable story of has-been tv stars.

I knew this movie was supposed to be like a spoof of Star Trek and it's fanatical fans and was afraid this would be a bit insulting or degrading (I am a Trekker) but it gently poked fun at the popular genre and I suppose also the effects of the media on another culture (like The Gods must be crazy) You don't have to be a ST fan to like this, it's worth a laugh. ~tammy.

As a fan of the sci-fi genre, especially Star Trek you would think this kind of movie might be insulting, but in fact, I loved it. Humourous to the point of silly this film is pure sport. No pretense at reality, it just wants to make you laugh. Obviously drawing on the ST phenomenon, GQ pokes fun at the very things we sci-fi love, and often try to ignore. Tim Allen is enjoyable, as is the rest of the stellar cast. So when logic fails, trust a hunch.

I thought it was a terrible movie with very bad acting! It was one of Tim Allan's worst movies!

Hilarious! The big problem is that people think you might have to be a Star Trek fan to find this movie funny, but that is not true. Great acting and funny storyline. Deffinetly a movie for everyone.

I didn't expect it to be a good flic to see, however, a recommendation from a friend led me to find out that it was a great comedic satyre. It proved to be very funny and entertaining having a few emotional moments. I found myself laughing uncontrollably at some moments. If you are looking for a good comedy, see this one.

I loved it and so did my friends, and I never go to treky type movies, then again it wasn't really that kind of movie. Very, very funny and well put together.

The movie was very funny and all the actors played very well. The story is ordinary and I expected something more special. It is worth to see if you want to have a good lough. It is a good comedy.

I think it is the best Sci-fi comedy that I have ever seen. I really like the part with the rock fight. Jeff from Pickering

If you are a star trek fan, you will appreciate this movie for all the "in" parodies about the original trek. If not the movie is more average but Tony Schaloub is worth the price of admission. Being a trek fan, I found it to be a fun flick and generally worth an evening out.

Very well done. Great for the whole family. Aliens were very funny on top of a good premise. Smaller parts excellently performed which made for an all-around fun experience. Go see it.

Haven't laughed this hard at a movie in a long time. Will especially please star (galaxy) trek (quest) fans. Good cast; got the biggest laughs from actors other than Weaver and Allen.

I really enjoyed the movie. Much funnier than I thought it would be. I was expecting slapstick silliness, but instead found some pretty good comedy.

Great movie ! I never heard my girlfriend laugh so much. The movie started as being a parody of star trek, but ended up being my second favorite trek movie, right after the wrath of Khan.

Cute movie but strictly for a younger crowd. Not much of a comedy. The props and costumes were excellent. We didn't do any laughing nor did we hear anyone else do a belly laugh. Have we known what we were about to see, we would have waited for the video.

A good, typical sci-fi movie--nothing special. It was not as funny as I had expected, nor as original. Good nonetheless--worth the $8.

Excellent comedy! Very intelligent and well-done. Characters were believable, the dialogue was funny, and the spoof of Start Trek was well-done. Character development was also effective. If you wish to see a very good, intelligent comedy - go see it!

This movie was great! Being a science-fiction fan as well as really enjoying spoofs (especially spoofs of old Star Trek shows) I laughed throughout the whole movie! The character interactions are wonderful, and the bonding that happens is nice to see. The jokes, of course, are plenty and often! I'd see it again!
