This richly symbolic movie does what so few movies do; that is, it moves one's heart to begin to understand how we are part of this world, it educates, it informs, it reminds us that we are very, very fortunate to have what we have, and finally it reminds us that the human spirit strengthens in adversity.

I love Iranian film. I love the colours and the slower pace. This film (set in Afghanistan) is no exception. See it if you are a feminist. See it if you are interested in Central Asia. See it if you like desert landscapes. See it if you like a slow-paced film, laden with symbolic imagery.

that was a very good film. In that movie you can feel how the faith of a wowser Afghan man goes away by deflagrating his cart and a dreem of a girlwho wants to become a president.
