Three days ago I got a chance to watch this movie on Cable (TV-Asia) I have been very disturbed since then. The movie "Baghban" has been very successful in portraying only one side of the real life. It is highly partial towards parents. Have you ever thought of other side (kids)? There are few parents in this world who just give birth to their kids but don't give right parental care. I am a victim of that. Why do you (parents) want to have 5 kids in your life if you are merely making only Rs 2000 per month? I was made to work on streets along with my siblings. I have no idea how I managed to reach IIT from there. It has been a long time since then but still I don't believe. Now I am a research scientist here in USA. I have provided all the necessities to my parents along with care by my two brothers who stay along with them. They could not provide basic things to us when we were kids. I find this movie very resentful. Its very partial. It has hurt my sentiments very deeply. I strongly urge the producer/director of this movie to look at the Indian society in other point of view also and make another movie. [...]

It's a great movie. It really makes you appreciate parents and think outside the box. If you're a softy, you'll cry like crazy!

BAGHBAN to me was a real experience. All the movies are filled with un wanted masal, love sequences that Shah ruk khan does with the beautiful dolls, but real stories r hidden & this is the one. I would say that each & every individual who loves his parents for the sake of ALLAH should take care of their parents like this as Salman does. It is an example to the dudes who become play boys & for the stupid show-off girls who don't seem to know the importance of parents. As for years I have been loving AMITABH BACHACHAN UNCLE & SALMAN KHAN they have really done a gr8 job, the natural acting by Amitabh uncle & exact role of a son by Salman is wonderful. HEMA MALINI, MAHIMA, PARESH HIS WIFE, AMITABH SON'S ALL HAVE DONE THEIR PART WELL. BUT Amitabh & Hema have done exteremely well. Everyone know's that none could have done this role best except AMITABH UNCLE. It is gr8. Watch it.

I think Baghban was an OK movie... not the best indian movie I've seen... it needed to have more conflict... and I think Salman Khan should have been in it more... only cuz he's so cute... hehehe ;)
