This movie has a great combination of martial arts, special effects, and interesting storyline. If you like alien movies, matrix, and martial arts, you'll enjoy this very much!

Whats great about this movie is that it felt like a live version anime, from its colorful animated villian, to the unlikely pairing of a stylish gun for hire on a vendetta and a scruffy street kid from the future trying to rectify the future by correcting the present. To give any hint of what the plot is would really spoil the essence of what this movie has accomplished in its 2hours, and to really appreciate the depth of the movie you might want to watch it a second time. Very clever concept. Being an avid watcher of animes, and Asian culture, this movie is spectacular to say the average North American, and does a much better job of the "Bullet Time Effect" than the Matrix Triology... Much better. The acting is equally good dubbed over in English as well the default Japanese voiceover. The Computer Generated effects are on par with todays Hollywood CGI. If you own a high definition TV or a projector, this movie is a true jem and definitely worth the $25-$30 to add to your DVD-Collection. This movie Rocks! Check it OUT NOW!!!

Wow. I didn't know that japanese films could actually compete with the standards set up by americans. That being said, the budget was no where close to that of the matrix but the movie kinda made you a beleiver out of the whole thing. The little actress in the story was great and the conclusion of the whole thing was very thoughtfull. If you are into sci-fi, martial arts and stories that have nice endings, you'll probably like this.
