This is funny. The Judd Apatow crew are taking over. Odd style of comedy that older people don't get but this is funny.

This movie displays some of Will Ferrell's best acting. As anchorman Ron Burgandy, he portrays a man with a huge ego and a lavish lifestyle. With his newscast team, made up of hilarious characters with different strengths and weaknesses, he embarks on a journey that begins with meeting a beautiful woman and ends with understanding his own chauvinism. From start till almost the end, this movie creates almost non-stop laughter. It is undoubtedly one of the best comedies in the last five years.

Will Ferrell. Enough said. Maybe not, this one is a little better that most every other bit of over-animated obnoxious drivel that he has been involved with but not by much. Great costuming and directing to give the viewer a retro feel of the glory days of news personalities of the past. Story was, well, okay, what story. We just wanted to see Will Ferrell's antics as he struts around the office with a mock penis "tenting" his pants. I guess, this is humor of a sort, the collator is jammed and I'm not putting any more paper in.

WARNING: You must like either Will Ferrell or SNL style humor to even think about seeing this movie. I like both and yet I remember when I saw the trailers for this movie thinking I'll probably skip it... it seemed just a little too dumb. Thankfully a dear friend of mine claimed it to be the funniest movie he had ever seen. Never been steered wrong by him before we watched it together. I nearly wet my pants three times and was constantly exploding with laughter through out. So dont just write this one off too soon, rent it, check it out, you may be unbelievably surprised.

PURELY Will Farell humour. EASY decision. Take it if you like Will Farell's SNL skits, but if you find his humour not to be your cup of tea then move along. I'm a fan of his work and there are many memorable moments that'll have you quoting jokes whenever the time permits! Steve Carell (Brick) is easily the favorite for fans! Go see it and laugh!
