Interesting movie, great special effects, not much of a storyline though. Looking for some cheap entertainment, that won't make you think too much, than give this one a try.

*YAWN* Boy, this sure didn't live up to my expactations. Poor acting, extraordinarily unbelievable ending (the invisible man gets burned, bludgeoned, electrocuted... yet still is going strong to continue chasing the heroine) I did like the effects of the skin, muscles, organs, etc disapearing, but that's about it. Oh-and is the star (Bacon) supposed to be cute? Yuck! What a fool the lady is for falling for that egocentric, unpleasant, ugly man. ~tammy.

So boring. I saw the movie and I was surprised! The "hollow man" survives an explosion, is nearly beaten to death and is burned alive! Don't even rent it!

This movie was excellent. A lot of suspense to it. It makes you think of the things you could do being invisible... But it would also be very scary. It was totally thrilling and it gave me chills!

Its a very good movie. Not too scary. For someone who like horror movies this would be a comedy to them. It is worth seeing. You also feel the power and fright of being invisible!!!

Following Verhoeven's style of gory special effects all over the place (I. E blood, broken limbs etc. ), this movie is not so bad as I thought. The special effects are really great (as in all of the director's movies), especially the scenes of transformation from visible to invisible (worth the ticket! ). However, it highly surreal, I mean, as in Starship Troopers, the guys get pierced with all kinds of blades through the body, but are still able to walk around and climb ladders? Who are we kidding?

I LOVE IT! You can almost feel that you are part of the man itself. It is just great with great effectson the Hollow Man itself and it just make a perfect thriller movie. It is not scary but it is a very interesting way to be if you are hollow and living a life just like anybody else.
