I first read the book and then I just had to see the movie. I loved the movie very good actors/actresses and looked very reallistic. But I was really disapointed to see that alot of stuff in the book was cut out. But you should go see it/ read the book if you love horses!

It was good but it missed huge chunks from the book. The Horses in the movie were gorgeous.

Too long, love story that wasn't convincing at alll!!! Without the love story and maybe an hour shorter would have been okay, but even at that. The only decent thing about that was the ending (and Scarlett's acting)

Discover the true strength of courage when you look into the eyes of the Horse Whisperer. Grace is a normal teenaged girl who loves her horse Pilgrim, until a horrific accident reshapes their worlds forever. The aftermath of the tragedy leaves both girl and horse traumatised and broken. Their spirit and love for each other evaporated. Their only hope is to venture towards the famous west where a mysterious wrangler awaits who is said to have the gift to mend a horses crippled soul. It is here where Grace and Pilgrim reunite and realise that love can overpower any tragedy. But a new fear in Grace blooms. The accident left Grace disabled for life and she fears she may never ride her horse again. With an ending which will leave your eyes grassy and your heart weak, The Horse Whisperer is the perfect excape to realise what you can achieve no matter what!

This movie wasn't that bad. I thought it was kinda long but it had a really good storyline. So if your bored and want a good sad movie... see this one.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I just saw it two years ago, but I rembered clearly. I liked it much, especilly the horse star pilgrim, although, I know it wasnt the only horse take part in the role, but, the deep impression is when the acciden happened, the horse rather to injured himself to protect his friend Grace, how surprised me!!!

This is a great movie. I really like Robert Redford, I think that he is the greatest.

The Horse Whisperer was a good movie in most aspects but as a close follower of Monty Roberts training techniques, that the treatment that was inflicted on the horse is in no means associated with his training methods. Mr. Roberts himself refused to be associated with the movie because of this.

Great movie, but I was disappointed that it didn't follow the book's ending. If I hadn't read the book I might have enjoyed the movie more.
