I didn't think they could improve on Before Sunrise, but I think they did. The characters remain very real, and fascinating, and the conversations are delightfully realistic and unpredictable. Hopefully there will be another 'After Sunburn' or something in twenty years! Julie Delpy must be the sexiest woman alive. ;-)

I can not say enough good things about "Before Sunset" and it's prequel "Before Sunrise". Both movies are simple movies that feature two people walking around and talking. That's it. The beauty of these films are the conversations. There is an art to conversation that is sadly lacking in most movies. It is only made more apparent after viewing this film. Before Sunset wonderfully captures that sense of longing, regret, attraction, and eventually hope that is a large part of the main character's lives. It is so easy to see what these two see in one and other. They are lovers on an intellectual level. There was a ten year period between Sunrise and Sunset. I really hope in ten years we will revisited these characters again.

This is my favorite movie. The scenery is marvelous. The acting, perfect, except didn't like Ethan Hawke too much. But Julie Delphy was awesome. I think this movie was even better than before sunrise.

I haven't seen Before Sunrise, but plan to. This film was a joy, the characters that were created and the thoughts they shared about how they felt as their lives slipped by were things I am definitely experiencing myself. A movie that almost entirely consists of one conversation is not something that is going to appeal to all people, and I thank the creative minds for making such a great movie for this nice audience.
