Not much of a movie, little spirit, less plot; random paranoia + Michael Moore.

I love Micheal Moore. He states the facts as you never heard them, uncovering governmental secrets and controversial corporate policies. A must-see. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. A definite 9 out of 10.

To all you Michael Moore bashers out there you merely prove that your greatest fear is the truth. After watching this film I had only one thing to say, that the only people more STUPID than Bush are the ones who support him. To those who say it's only liberal propaganda and Bush bashing and an attack on American citizens, quit being so lazy and do some research on the issues. Just because Bush is an American does not make him right. Remember what Mark Twain once said:"That you should support your country all of the time and your government when it deserves it". Besides, if any of you think that what Bush is doing is the right thing then why don't you volunteer to help in his cause or have your children or grandchildren volunteer.

Fahrenheit 9/11 shows an excellent side of the time between December 2000 until its release in 2004 within the Bush Administration. It shows an indepth look at George W. Bush's family involving Saudi Arabia and its oil companies. It also shows the many events between this time, such as the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq.

One of the worst movies ever! Don't see. Moore completely takes someone's words out of context and twists them in a way to get his point across. That scene in Iraq before the US went in... come on lets get real here! He tried to make Iraq look like the streets were made out of chocolate with candy cane traffic lights. What a joke.

Not the best documentary I've seen. I liked Bowling for Columbine a lot more. Too much propaganda in this film. More so than information. I think people are too easily influenced. Good film. But like I said, Bowling for Columbine is better. If you want to pay for a documentary, go see An Inconvenient Truth. Much better.

Although the film is important and has information we need to know, some of the humour and sillyness takes away from the power of Michael's key message. I wish he did a better job on his fact-checking and use of hyperbole. But even giving all of this, this is a contribution that merits serious consideration. And some of the humour does help keep the tears at bay.

M. Moore´s film is one big lie! It hides islamistic antidemocratic and antisemite strategy from Saudis, BinLaden, Saddam, Hizbolla, Hamas, PLO, Syrian and Iran leaders a. O. and helps german-france pro arab strategy -not with the truth, but with a quarter of it and hide the main things, like the nazi-ideology of these leaders, their infiltration of the west or saddam´s successful corrumption of about 100 UNO functionairs by the food-for-oil programm, and the france 100.000MioDollar-Oil interest with Saddam... and so on and on. -No Mo(o)re evil, silly propaganda! Achim Schürmann, Duisburg, Allemande.

Some day, hopefully soon, Michael Moore's "business model" -- writing and producing low-budget brain candy for anti-American leftists -- will sit alongside Wal-Mart as a Harvard Business School case study. Come to think of it, these "documentaries" really are the Wal-Mart of documentary film-making: keep your costs low and sell cheap crap for a profit. But Moore has managed to put an ingenious twist on it. Instead of paying media for the privilege of airing negative anti-Republican attack ads, he gets the media to pay HIM. It all depends on the legions of (mostly affluent) lefties and conspiracy theorists willing to pony up the dough at the box office. I really gotta hand it to him. He has circumvented McCain-Feingold AND made a bundle to boot.

I found this movie mind altering in the facts that were documented upon this movie. Absolutely startling when you see the way Bush responded when informed of the 9/11 attack. Yes he was in a room of school childred but his reaction was... well he really did not seem to have much of reaction. This closed the book for me. This movie is well worth watching and it really opens your eyes as how politics unfolds and not so favourably for all of us!!! Thank you Michael Moore for informing us and keeping us informed!! I will look forward to Michael Moore's next movie and will definitely pay more atteniton to the chess game the politians seem to be playing with us!!!

Alright... people need to take a step back on this one and watch it ojectively. Too many people go see Michael Moore's films and come out thinking that everything they've seen is the absolute truth. Yes, Moore has a lot of interesting points, but they loose all potency when mixed with his mockery of president Bush. The man (Bush) is not a great man in my eyes and I don't think he has been a good president, but I don't agree with mixing facts with ridicule in order to make your point. The facts speak for themselves: Bush SHOULD NOT be President, he is unfit for the job. Making him look like a complete and total vegetable in front of the world is not the best way to get your point across. I wish the film had been more informative and less manipulated to make the public think Bush has the IQ of a 6 year old. I think Moore is a very intelligent man, far more so than Bush, but he lost points in my book for being disrespectful to a member of the human race, as much as I don't like Bush, I respect him for the fact that he is a human being, with a family, a mind and a sense of dignity. I will go see the next Michael Moore documentary, I just hope it stands for something more, and possibly even something hopeful... we need more of that in our world, and less malevolence.

See this movie! It is a must see purely for the content. Some of Michael Moore's comments need scrutiny but the message is extremely clear regarding who the real Bush is. Rather what he is. Every american should see this and any canadian who is apathetic towards policits - a real eye opener!

You know everyones is blabbing on how ONE sided this film is and how it distorts all the fact... wha wha wha!!! Heres a tisse... of course its one sided! It's a DOC. With entertainment value... what in the world do you think ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, FOX etc etc etc have been giving us... ? One side!! The spirit of american values is a quilt covering the uglyness this whole amercan government has put its citizens through... finally people are disgusted and raising their fists!! We've let too much go by... nows the time to fight. A half intelligent human will realize this is only one side... so stop being lazy and get out there and be educated... see all the sides and truths instead of basing it all on one film... I think this film is just a spark to get people looking deeper and farther than their own nose... get up educate and then fight for what u belive is right, just like Mr. Moore did... this is important, and to ignore that is to let ourselves be destroyed by our own ignorance...

Although this movie was filled with great drama, I'm a little skeptical about putting this one in the documentary section once it reaches video stores. I think Michael Moore has issues with the president of his own country and finds ways to manipulate media extractions to serve his purpose. See the movie Paparazzi for more examples. This does not imply that I am a Bush supporter. In fact, I'll be sad when he is re-elected this year. However, with Bush running the show in our neighboring country for his second term, perhaps Hillary will finally decide to run in 2008 and we may see the first female president of the United States. I use the term "first female president" loosely because all she's missing is the title since she actually ran the country when her husband was president. As far as Fahrenheit 9/11 is concerned, see it for its entertainment value and don't take everything Michael Moore says for granted.

I usually find M. M's documentaries (and I use that term very loosely when it comes to M. M. )quite entertaining, but 9/11 had me checking my watch every few minutes. Boring! First of all, if you follow the news, a lot of this movie is "old news" and secondly, enough Bush bashing! Since the election, Bush has been ridiculed in the press and on television at an astronomical rate. M. M got lazy on this one. Don't pay anything to see it!

This movie shows us how the U. S. manipulates the world to serve their own purpose. Fahrenheit 9/11 shows the reason why many countries are becoming angry at the United States and its people. George W. Bush had what is coming to him because in a sense he has shown that he is incapable of running his country. All of these are excellently shown and enumerated by Michael Moore. See the movie and make your own judgements.

Excellent documentary once again Michael. I preferred this one over Bowling for Columbine pobablyt due to the fact that your movie will definitely have an impact to the election. I think you hit the nail (Bush) on the head. If are an honest American you must have a hard time acknowledging this corruption is actually going on with your government. Michael Moore makes another Big political statement that will shock everybody in part. It is a thinker.

An excellent film that is like any other documentary... edited to reflect the directors vision. People who feel the movie distorts facts and therefore is not a documentary are rubes. Documentary filmakers ALWAYS have a position, and although some of them question their intent or original position, that is also edited for effect in the aim to tell a good story. These films are not textbooks. Get news from sources such as BBC, CBC, and PBS if you want a little more fact in your news diet, and let Mr. Moore continue to make entertaining documentaries.

This movie is far from propaganda. To those who actually do there digging and what not, they will know that the flights carrying the Bin Ladens out of the country where actually done while the ban was still on. Both the FBI and CIA wanted to question them, however, Dubya had to pay back his debts for the Saudis who invested in his business, whcih he ran into the ground. Just the way he ran the United States of America in the ground. A masterpeice of a film, something all Americans should go see, if not too simply counter that of the right wing media. I think we have all had enough of Fox News, havent we?

I just think that this movie came out just before the elections to have effect on votes... I felt like I was watching the democrats vs. Republicans... one team lashing out at the other and the other team tied up and speechless... let's not forget this is Michael Moore's facts and what he wants us to believe. Listen people; ALL documentaries are biased to a degree. Complete objectivity is next to impossible. This is just Mr. Moore's attempt to balance the ledger and counter the mainstream media's perspective. Good movie, but watch it with a critical eye. I happen to support his views for the most part, but there are questionable specious arguments in there.

I think is was an awesome film. It gives you a different perspective of what went on and how Bush deals with things. Yes it is one sided but I think that it was a great and well proven side. We all have our own opinions and Horray for Mike Moore to be able to express himself, and allow other to view his side. I give the film a 9 rating...

Documentary? Here are a couple of small problems with his claims: ** Moore claims that Bush was unable to get his legislation passed prior to September 11. Oops! Both Houses of Congress passed Bush's tax cut - you know, the one that has resulted in the greatest economic growth rate in two decades. ** According to Moore, the war in Afghanistan had nothing to do with the fact that the Taliban harbored the terrorists who attacked us. Rather, the war had to do with the building of a pipeline through Afghanistan so that natural gas could be brought from the Caspian Sea, and the scheme involved a dark cadre of companies that were led by the oil giant Unocal. Oops! Unocal dumped the pipeline idea back in the late 1990s. ** The film indicates that, in the days following 9/11, exit flights of Saudis, a few of whom bore the last name of bin Laden, took place at a time when other air traffic was grounded. Oops! The flights actually occurred when the aircraft ban was lifted. And the guy who made the decision was one of Moore's soul mates - Bush's former counterterrorism chief Richard Clarke. ** Moore claims that the ex-leader of Iraq never threatened, attacked or killed any Americans. Oops! For an entire decade Saddam Hussein tried to shoot down American planes as our pilots patrolled the no-fly zones. And he offered rewards to the families of suicide bombers in Israel. And he tried to assassinate former president George H. W. Bush. And he gave safe haven to the notorious Abu Nidal, a terrorist whose group has been blamed for attacks in more than 20 countries. - Thanks to Dr. James Hirsen But don't believe me, believe Moore, he is impartial..

Splendid! This was the first time I heard the voice of an Iraqi! The old woman was crying because she lost her loved ones in a bombing by the USA on civilians! It showed the USA army soldiers talking as if they're in some kind of a video game! The people of Iraq are as human as we are! Michael Moore showed this to the world! I also enjoyed how he attacked G W Bush in any way that he could. Keep up the good work!

It's an entertaining pseudo-documentary, but that's more or less it. Michael Moore tries to spark discussion on Iraq, President Bush and the state of polictics in the United States, which is a worthwhile endeavor. But he adopts the tactic of taking the other (left) extreme in the hopes of balancing the overall political discussion. Most of the movie provides no context to the facts presented and no balanced discussion of events. It also deliberately omits information that counters his anti-Bush agenda. This method encourages viewers to jump to extreme opinions, which do little to heighten the level of political discourse. Although entertaining, that's about it. This is not a documentary. The film is noteworthy for its unwillingness to provide context or balance, as well it's outright ommissions..
