I found the actors to be spellbinding. Rarely has a movie captured my attention with such fervor... my only disappointment was the story itself. It struggled to maintain its abstract ingenuity, all the while posing with pristine Shakespearean bravo. Not one of my favorite Christopher Walken movies, either. (Didn't I used to be afraid of that guy?!) Sewell and Cates were marvelous... Borowitz was as capturing as any leading lady should be. Overall it wasn't an utter failure... but would have done better at the Canne Festival than in national theatres.

It's a beautiful movie, written in beautiful words and played beautifully by the actors and the actresses. A movie doesn't need to have a complex story to be an entertaining scene. Simple and enjoyable are the key words.

A wonderful movie. If you have ever been involved in the theatre, or known someone who went on stage, or if you like to attend live theatre, you must see this movie. This is a movie for artists and lovers and lovers of art. There are no car chases, no shooting, and no left-wing political monologues, but there is life-affirming beauty.
