This movie really shows that life is a miracle in any way. It is sometimes absurd, sometimes funny, or sad... but It IS LIFE! I loved that movie because it is absolutely true to life but the perspective from which this story is told is a perspective of a romantic poet, of a smart and careful observer, of a strong person who loves life and has an ability to convince others to love it switching the usual perspective... It is all about our life. Why don't we put our heads up one day and just look around, look as if you would never see it again... But don't be sad about that))))))))))))) YOU ARE ALIVE.

Not at all the kind of film you´d expect to see after reading the synopsis... a quite alternative film and story, absurd in many ways, however a refreshing change for those who are tired of watching the typical American movies. Maybe just little too long.

Great movie. Kusturica shows his unique style once again. The story is filled with sad and happy moments. An interesting movie for everybody!

Some didnt get that this movie is not for the general public, since the mass is nothing. It's an excellent movies from all points, a real masterpiece like most of Emir Kusturica's movies. Think that many if not most of the people from N America can't see the real value of this movie, just as couldnt with Arizona Dream, one of the best movies ever made...

Too long? Only if you're brainwashed by Hollywood's obligatory 90 min format! I didnt notice the time at all. A great alternative to Hollywood, wonderful wacky colourful characters, lots of energy... plot is not predictable a la USA, a very enjoyable film!!!

First, too long. Dragging on and on. Like milking a cow after it became dry. [...] A great concept but lack of understanding and experience to reach the general public. The Director and Producer forgot that this is a feature film, not a documentary. They will miss a very large public by this lack of knowledge.

Genre-defying, heart-rending, hilarious, tragic, vibrant, beautiful, humanistic... and a new Oscar category needs to be opened up for the director: use of animals. They are the supporting cast and in some ways one is the hero. Really. I won't spoil it by saying which one! The only question-mark over this work is the representation of women, who are either crazy or sexy... but the men aren't much different!
