This is by far the second best batman movie ever made, the first best being the one made back in the '60's (everybody sing together now -nananana [...] BATMAN!!! ) The greatest of all Batman movies will always remain as incomparable as it is indescribable. Be that as it may, Batman Begins comes closer than any of its predecessors to nailing the Batman persona. They still have a long way to go, for as fans of the comic book know, Batman is a lot more than just an angry ninja in a bat costume. Still, there is only so much you can do in 2 ½ hours, so this simplification is easily forgivable. Judged strictly on its own merits Batman Begins is a thoroughly entertaining and superbly crafted movie that is well worth watching in the theater..
