Awesome movie. Love scarecrow. Liam Neeson as Ra's al Ghul plays the perfect villain.

It's not a very lively film, but it's entertaining, thunderous, and visioned with excellence. The development is steady, and the pace is remotely sustained. It's a success but not an amazement.

This was great, I would love to watch it again, it beats spiderman 1 and 3 to a pulp and is right there with spiderman 2. I love how they showed back storys on how Bruce Wayne became Batman and Liam Neeson was MAGNIFICENT as teaching Batman and he made a perfect villain, I would see this movie again and again.

The best batman yet. It is brilliant in every way. There is a great performance by Christain Bale, Leam Nesan, and Michal can and Morgan freemen.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
Let me start by saying that I'm a huge BATMAN FAN, but this; this was an insult not only to my intelligence, but to BOB KANE'S as well. Ironically, I felt like this was the KNIGHTFALL SAGA and BALE'S BATMAN was trying to surpass KEATON'S BATMAN the way JEAN PAUL VALLEY tried to surpass BRUCE WAYNE. Bruce Wayne's BATMAN is a self made man, a self made man does not get everything he needs to fight crime conveniently. NOLAN, GOYER, and BALE seem to think it's the suit and the gadgets that make BATMAN, BATMAN much in the way JEAN PAUL VALLEY took the going around beating the snot out of people approach as opposed to BURTON'S and KEATON'S BATMAN/BRUCE WAYNE who showed the intelligent side such as figuring out THE JOKER'S poison code and in BATMAN RETURNS where he's making the repairs on the BAT (MOBILE) by himself and KEATON can kick ass, he doesn't rely on trick BLAIR WITCH PROJECT filmmaking the way BALE relies on everyone else. While it did have more characters from the actual comic book, that was also part of the problem, they make us care nothing about them instead choosing to focus on self-indulgent ChristIAN BALE. Plus, the over abundance of villains CARMINE FALCONE (I thought it would have so much better if JOE CHILL were the crime boss, rather than BRUCE coming back all "Boo-hoo, f@#k everyone else, I'm not becoming BATMAN until I see the guy who killed my parents get shot." SCARECROW, my favorite villain wasted (A potato sack over your head makes you scary? I guess they couldn't afford ski masks and panty hose in their $135,000,000 budget) RA'S AL GHUL/HENRI DUCARD whoever the [...] LIAM NEESON was supposed to be was so bland (With this overabundance of villains, I feel like I'm entering BATMAN & ROBIN territory here), it would impress me if he could bild his own weapon to destroy GOTHAM rather than relying on BRUCE WAYNE to help him destroy the city (Steal something from BRUCE WAYNE and use it to destroy GOTHAM, gee where have I seen that before? Plus stealing a device that sucks the water out of things? Boy, for a movie that tries so hard not to be like BATMAN & ROBIN or the original BATMAN THE MOVIE where they show BATMAN & ROBIN struggling to climb up a wall and suddenly a guest star pops out of the window, only in BATMAN BEGINS it's a little kid that BATMAN throws his 10,000 dollar telescope that Lucius Fox gave to him to some kid.) I could go on and on, but if I can stop one, just one person from seeing the DARK KNIGHT I will sleep better, unlike the citizens of GOTHAM who not only have to worry about CROOKS but a guy in a TANK killing COPS and crashing trains into public buildings.

This is what Batman was meant to be on the big screen. Story, twists, action sequences, casting and acting all executed flawlessly.
