An exceptional take on Alfred Hitchcock's "The Lady Vanishes." Although this movie gets it's main plot from that Hitchcock classic, this movie ups the ante in several ways. First off it is way more tense, giving us (the viewers) the feelings of anxiety, worry, and even claustrophobia. Also the answer to the question," How does a person disappear entirely from an airplane? ," is quite good and very satisfying. Jodie Foster plays her character pitch-perfectly and you can feel her as she goes through this most terrifying situation of losing a child. Of course this is merely the surface of this movie as it becomes much deeper and twisty as we approach the end. Definitely a great thriller with an air-tight plot. Fantastic acting by all make it believable and even a little chilling. See it now!

I loved this movie. It was filled with suspense, without the boring, typical type of ending. The plot may seem obvious to some viewers, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Really liked this. Jodie Foster always gives a great performance. Plot had lots of twists and turns. Only predictable thing was the ending. Worth a DVD rental.

Don't waste your time! The first 45 minutes has Jodie looking frantically for her daughter which is a total waste because you know there has to be more to the plot than her being looney toons. When the plot finally does reveal itself, it is sooo lame! Love Sean Bean as always!

GaaaRBAGE!!! Vraiment, vraiment cheap...
