Recently I took my dad who is 80 yrs. Old. He loved it so much that he hasn't stopped talking about it since. He had tears in his eyes as he watched. I seemed to really touch him. It was a really positive and inspiring film. I will be taking him again this weekend. Thanks.

Truly incredible movie. It is not promoting any sect but illustrates both the amazing and profound nature and spirit of India through viewing both one touchstone life and through the eyes of that life. The choice is clearly based on the country-wide journeying and depth of spiritual exploration of that life and its proximity to our times though it otherwise could have been as well via the brilliant Shankaracharya or any other wide-travelled Indian spiritual notable, of whatever sect.

Although I am born in Canada, I would likely feel a robust sense of national pride from seeing this movie, if I were an Indian. I loved the cinematography and felt a longing to revisit India, but left disappointed upon discovering that the apparent purpose behind the production was to promote the specific religious sect portrayed. India was fairly represented however, in its grand majesty, and that, to me is why I enjoyed the film.

Pure eye-candy! A great way to see India without the 2000$ ticket and 22 hr flight!!
