I despise Jane Austen and I don't care for Keira Knightley as an actress. This movie was excellent. When it comes to adaptations, it just doesn't get much better than this.

One of the most romantic, English, modest movies I have ever been witness to. I loved it.

I think this version of the film was a lot better than the last. I do prefer the British version to the American version, as they have different endings. The British version reverts back to the book more as the classic it is. Fantastic acting, exactly how it is portrayed in the novel! It's a great film, a definite must see. I even have it on dvd :)

DVD: "Pride & Prejudice (Widescreen)"
I loved it. I can watch this movie over and over again. Everything was so well done. I love movies based on Jane Austen books, this one particular is very well filmed. If you liked P&P, try Emma, Mansfeild Park, and Sense and Sensibility.

This is the best movie I ever saw! Everyone plays amazingly well. I'm very deceived that I didn't see it on big screen though... Hopefully another renaissance movie will come up soon :)

Im fond of p&p story I read it about 100 times -in each holiday-so I was waiting for the film and when it releases as dvd I buy it and belive or not I watched daily since 2 months, I like mr darcy voice -he has somthing plesant in his mouth when he talks- I think thats the movie reflect how we could love honestly and how we can watch a clean romance movie between souls not bodies.

I like this movie so much. Finally people showed respectable, patient, beautiful and truthful LOVE. No typical phrases, no cheap excuses a real life love. They showed that love doesn't come at one day or one month. It takes time. I didn't cry, but you will...

We went to see this movie as a family and we all loved it. We have 3 girls (8, 12, 15) and they all thought it was the best movie they had seen in along time. It was refreshing to watch a clean classical story that the whole family could enjoy!

A great movie for women (I'm a guy and liked it too - better than the last one)who want to see a real man of culture patiently and lovingly woo an intellectual lady. Four eyebrows way "up".

I was already expecting the movie to be rather poor but I must say it disappointed me nonetheless. The plot is closer to the book than the original movie but many things are out of period and exaggerated. The filming was however very good. Awesome shots in this, props to the crew.
