This movie was not that funny of Jim's movies. But I can totally understand the facts and the matter of this movie. However I have to say Jim Carrey was acting very good thru this movie, after all he was warded a Golden Globe*. couple of years ago when I saw this movie I thought it sucked, but ever since I've been searching and learning more about acting and movies, I have learnt that this movie wasn't suppose to be hysterical, it was rather a movie based on a comedians life. After all the critiqes gave "man on the moon" *** stars out of **** stars, it was good.

One of the few original comedy's out there. A very unique drama/comedy with suttle satire and for the most part quit an amazing film. Jim Carrey was outstanding.

Sorry people but this is not a comedy, not a drama, and not an action movie, it is a biography of a real person! Absolutely fantastic job by Carrey. Role was truly researched, and the film appeared true to life. Don't go expecting to see a Carrey type movie or you won't like it.

I usually like Jim Carrey, but this movie SUCKS, don't see it whatever you do. I recommend Barney instead of this. Awfull movie.

Perhaps an accurate portrayal, but too much of a downer to be entertaining. I feel Carrey is somewhat self-indulgent in this role.

I can't believe some of these people. I mean: no offense to them, but HOW DUMB CAN YOU GET? You go see the movie just because Jim Carrey is in it, you expect to be overcome with laughter, and when you're not, laughing like a pig you automaticaly assume that the movie sucks. All I can say is that you're probably the type of people who watch reruns of the Simpsons for 2 hours a day and the best actor you know is probably a sock puppet!!! Great movie; a true masterpiece by Milos Forman!!! Go see it right now!!! (as long as you have an IQ of more than 50).

I don't think Jim Carrey has REALLY come into his own as a consumate performer, quite yet, but this is as close as he's gotten, so far. No question that the 'research' he did into Kaufman's characterization is practically impeccable, but in the end, he too fell prey to the after-taste effect Andy Kaufman left in all our opinions: too sappy. Once Courtney Love gets over her self-consciousness on film, she could handily make a second creditable career of acting.

Even though I'm not a fan of the late Andy Kauffman and his comdedy but Milos Forman and Jim Carey give a portrait of what kind of man Kauffman was. He was an innovator in his time and the film is funny from one end to another. The Italian lounge guy is hilarious. Must see!!

Me, my g/f and some friends went to see this movie because that and Stuart Little were the only movies left in the theatre we hadn't seen. WE WERE SOOOO excuse me I WAS SOOO DUMB TO CHOOSE THIS MOVIE TO WATCH. I even LIKE Andy Kaufman and this movie bites raunchy a#%!!!!! I think I speak for the entire group when I say that this movie was (lengh of movie here) too long. Dont watch this, see Stuart Little instead.

I saw this movie a week ago and I'm still trying to figure out the ending... I din't know anything about Andy Kaufman, and went to see the movie because Jim Carey was in it and I'm glad I did. Jim Carey is amazing in this!!! (I think he is amazing in everything). He basically played a jerk, but he was still likeable. I don't think you need to be an Andy Kaufman fan to enjoy this movie. I recommend it to everyone.

I didn't know anything about Andy Kaufman before I saw this movie and now I'm trying to find out everything I can about him. Jim Carrey gives the role of his lifetime portraying Kaufman and should receive an Oscar for his performance. Overall great movie fueled by great performances. Perfection!

I'm glad someone finally made a movie about Andy Kaufman and Jim Carrey did a great job portraying him! The story does lack excitement, but this is a biography afterall... Nonetheless, enjoyed the movie and laughed quite a bit! SJB

What a movie!! Jim Carrey was absolutely amazing!! At times I actually thought it was Andy Kaufman!! His acting was terrific. He definately deserves an academy award!! I really enjoyed every minute of this movie!! It also left you wondering.... I want to see it again and again!! I loved it!!! I recommend this movie to everyone!!

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! I don't really know who Andy Kauffman was, because, he dies before I was born but, I now have a good idea of what he was life. Jim Carey was amazing!! At some points in the movie, you don't even think it is him acting. You really think that it is Andy Kauffman. I think that everyone in the whole world should see this movie, I rate this movie a BIG 10/10. You can not miss this movie. IT IS A MUST SEE!!!
