This movie is horrible. It was quite good 'til Benjamin Bratt came into it. After that it went crap. I dont recommend this for anyone.

I really enjoyed this movie. There was great acting and a really good storyline. There was some very sad parts but the ending was terrific. I'll admit that the movie made me cry but I loved it.

I waited a long time for this movie to come out (I'm a big Madonna fan) and I wasn't dissappointed. It was a very emotional movie and I spent the whole second half in tears. So, if you like movies that stir up your emotions go see it. I loved it!

Although it is suitable to call this film "mildly entertaining", it is best to wait until it is available for rent. Madonna, Rupert Everett and Benjamin Pratt are nice to look at, however the simple plot and mediocre script does not hold ones attention for too long!

Now I know for myself... Madonna cannot act to save her life! It was one of the worst films that I have ever seen. Do yourselves a favor and avoid it at all costs. Do not even rent it when it comes on video. Waste... waste... waste!!!

First of all, Madonna, proves once again she cannot act if her life depended on it. Second, after half way into the movie, the characters argue about the custity of the child, go to court, cry alot, and then out of the sudden they forgive each other and everything is OK. Don't waste your money, please.

The movie was light and cute, but the acting was awful... don't bother going to the theaters for this one, it's definetely a rental.

Argh! The film starts out rather enjoyably with some endearing performances by Madonna and Everett. Light comedy mixed with an interesting friendship. The best contribution to the film is Madonna's new love interest, and his inability to master yoga, which made him totally endearing. But the movie take a turn for the worse when Madonna's character decides to move away with her new beau, thereby taking away the son she shares with Everett. I was incensed. The two characters are so wrapped up in their own little egomaniacal melodramas that they don't seem to be aware of their son. To make matters worse, the script sounds like it came from an eighth-grader with no concept of life. The revelation about the parentage of the son leaves you wondering how a relationship supposedly built on love and trust could survive such treachery. But you be the judge.

I thought this movie was SO bad. Madonna's acting was terrible. I had no idea how terrible of an actress she truly was until I saw this fillm. The story was kinda dry, not very funny... and the stereotypes were paifunl. I don't recommend it unless you are into masochism.

If this movie were a fruit, it would be a lemon. All I have to say is, don't waste your time and don't even see it when it comes out on video, unless you're a hardcore Madonna fan who doesn't give a &%^&^$%, if she can act. Go see real actors like Kevin Spacey and Annette Benning, in American Beauty.

I think this film is excellent. The story line is quite unique. It is a funny, sad and heart-warming film. Rupert Everett is truly adorable and Madonna is a woman who can obviously do it all. Overall an excellent film with an incredible soundtrack.

A very plausible scenario. Madonna and Everett, excellent. The beginning stretched a little too much and the ending compressed a little too much. But in general, a very good movie, worth seeing.

A must-see movie for all those romantics who like long walks on an autumn evening, raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens, and who are absolutely delusional about reality and human relationship... you guys get on out there and buy a double popcorn and fizzies and get a warm fuzzy feeling about this. For the rest of you, avoid it like the plague. Mediocrity has reached stunning new depths in this flaccid, ill-conceived and nauseating farce. Madonna has shown her true dramatic colours and Rupert should just be ashamed. A boring and stupidly homo-genized view of gay America, straight America, and parenthood.

I really enjoyed this movie! I must admit, however, that I was a bit worried the first ten minutes (the acting seemed a bit under par and the storyline somewhat ... phoney). But the acting picked up tremendously and there were a lot of funny, charming, emotional moments. Great characters. Benjamin is very charming! As is Rupert. Madonna is very good, too. Quite enjoyable.
