Excellent story, but lacked in chemistry between the two main character.

Worst movie ever. The movie was pointless, there was no plot, no excitement just plan stupidness. It was justa nother sorry attempt to prove Aishwarya rai can speak english, and she cant!

Well, it does look like I might be the only one, but I liked this movie a lot! It's an enchanting tale and although some parts were weaks, some other more than made up for them. I liked the way it discussed an issue that concerns us all. How can you accomplish your destiny, which may require a good part of sacrifice, while still living the life you want. And what is more important, helping others all the time or being more egotistic and thinking of yourself first. It is true that unusual talent (in this case, for reading others and helping them through the use of the spices) often comes with a great responsibility. I also loved the magical element of spices and the vision of the lives of some immigrants. Overall, I think this is a movie that asks a lot of very important questions and that stays with one a long time. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that is able and likes to think outside the box and can appreciate a movie that is quite different from what we're used to from Hollywood.

Extremely dissapointing. The story was poorly developed, and lacked any real climax. It could have been reminiscent of "Chocolat", but failed completely in terms of execution.

The storyline is fake... nothing is real in this movie... but I still liked the movie, mainly coz of Aishwarya's amazing acting in it, but also coz it was full of emotions..

The story is dull and predictable and the acting wooden with the exception of Aishwarya Rai, who is so amazing to look at that it almost made the movie worthwhile.

I just did not undestand the POINT of making such a film... I was constantly thinking that the movie might get better but it never even reached that point. I am unsure as to WHY Aishwarya signed on this film.

I really like Ash but this movie is really slow with not much storyline. I really like the director but this movie just didn't have the same spice the other ones did.

I wasn't overly impressed with the acting in this movie, although I did like the story. I wasn't expecting much considering the cast was headed up by a former Miss Universe. The movie was slow in parts and I found the ending wanting. It's a much better rental than a BIG screen must see.
