The Avenger's was a british tongue in cheek spy series that emphasised the bazaar and was of the same time period as The Prisoner. If you firstly understand the British taste in entertainment, then you will begin to appreciate the humor and style that this film is posted in. Uma Thurman never looked better than in her tight leather outfit and Ralph Fiennes is sophisticated and appropriate. Weather Machine, Giant Teddy Bear costumes to hide the identity of the bidders, storms lashing as they fight to the finish, perfect Avenger's genre and in vivid colors to boot. Truly funny and entertaining. Do you think that Sean Connery "settled" for this part. I know that he was chomping at the bit for this bit of nostaligic comedy. It is a comedy folks.

It has to be the worst film I have ever seen. With such great actors in the film and still to be this incredibly bad. Connery in a bunny suit and not even the least bit funny; how degrading.

It's unfortunate that the people who rated this movie badly can't spell. It really shows how smart they are. I found this movie quite entertaining. In fact, this movie is the reason why Uma Thurman became my favourite actress. The Steed in the movie version is also much more swarthy and handsome, the way he should have been!

I thought this movie was entertaining. Did not match the original characters of the Avengers though. Uma not even close in quality performance to Diana Rigg. Sean Connery was a good bonus. Script could have been a little more indepth. The control of the weather was somewhat silly; however it sure beats some movies out now! The English tradition was fab.

A complete waste of time, the story-line was slow to develope, the acting was mediocre, and the action... there was none.

I do like the movie, as I always is a fan of Avengers. The story still good and every special effects or the very unique touch still traceble. I think the main problem is the leading actor/actress. In avengers these two characters are so important(Mrs. Peel and John S), and unfortunately is a failure between Uma Thurman and Ralph Fienns. She is cute, and quite a good actress generally, but unable to pull-off the role of Emma Peel. Somehow keep feeling either she is too American or too "fast-food" type. Abosolutely no chemistry between the two...
