This movies is one of the best movies yet, Also the best of the Batman series. It is a thrilling, exciting, must see movie!!! XD.

The movie probably would have been very good had someone curbed the director's need to over-supply (and I mean OVER-supply) the tons of scenes and sub-plots involving sadism, graphic violence and implied graphic violence, and very long and totally unrealistic scenes of the dude with his face 1/2 burned away. Yes, we have seen Sophie's Choice already so save us the dilemma choices thingee. Yes, we recognize the duality of man thingee so save us the sustained closeups of the 1/2 face. And yes, we have read the bible and understand the temptation thingee. Hollywood continues to drag us deeper into mediocrity punctuated by scenes meant to shock... p. S. I don't ever want to see that crappy dead actor lick his lips again while holding a knife to someone's face. Puleeezzz.

FANTASTIC! This was definitely one of the best movies I have ever seen. Being a skeptic of all the talk of Heath Ledger deserving the Oscar for this, of course I assumed it was because of his tragic ending, however he was Phenomenal! I thought every actor/character was perfectly placed and each provided an outstanding performance. I was captivated from the opening scene to the closing credits and wished I could see the movie again as it ended. I would sum it up by saying this was perfection! If you haven't yet seen it, do so.

Best Batman movie yet! Great tie-ins with other movies - Ledger managed to surpass Nicholson's "JOKER" portrayal (which I didn't think would be possible!) A great dark comic for the big screen has been born.

This is the best movie I've seen in a long time and probably the best 1 I'll ever see. Heath Ledger's performance is amazing, a miracle. It's a miracle because of the way he can act and still be a humble and a amazingly cute man, who was also an incredible. I Love You Heath. Have fun in heaven you will be missed... so much.

This movie is a true battle of good vs evil. Not only does Batman battle against criminals he also battles against himself to keep on doing what is right and not to become what he is fighting.

This Batman movie far surpasses all of the others. Batman Begins was the best, until the Dark Knight appeared - now it is the best Batman movie ever made. It is thought provoking, spellbinding with enough down sequences to keep you interested in the plot and to keep you wondering what is going to happen next. Never ever were you bored or thought enough already lets get back to the action. The action and special effects sequences were extremely well done. Without Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, this movie would not be the same.

This is a horror film. The overwhelming violence and death was almost shocking. Taking this into consideration, I was left of the edge of my seat for the most part. However, It was about 30 mins too long. I found batman's voice to be bizarre, robotic. The performances were great, Ledger was haunting. Sadly, It would not have been as good without the abundance of insanely violent scenes.

I reserve my highest praise for that unknown movie which will one day blow all other movies out of the water. Dark Knight came close, very close. The movie is practically flawless. Nolan is a master and his cast were amazing. I thought Ledger did an amazing job, but in my opinion not oscar worthy. He'll get one anyway though, and fair enough if you ask me. Go see it. Make sure you're in the right mood some great action and a great plot. Doesn't feel like a 2 and half hour movie. Don't bother with popcorn, you'll be sat there with a handful halfway to your mouth for 90% of the movie. Riveting.

Very well done - but I am disappointed. I think this movie missed the mark on what it is supposed to be. It is not entertaining like movies ought to be - especially Batman. The action is totally unbelievable which would be okay if they were trying for that kind of movie. I can see why Heath Ledger lost himself in this role. If you want to pay tribute to him, see Brokeback Mountain instead. You can't even tell that it's him anyway.

Everybody giving this movie a 10 seems to basically mention how great Heath Ledger was and base their ratings solely on his performance... I agree his acting was truly amazing and worth every bit of at least an Oscar nomination. As for the rest... it had some big names... Freeman , Oldman, Caine but they didn't do much!!! Did they? I'm sorry but I didn't see much else to rave about even the special effects were a bit pedestrian compared to other action movies released these days... maybe next time.

The movie was terribly awesome, interesting from beginning to end. A lot of action, even though I'm not usually a fan of it. But most of all, Heath Ledger was fantastic in it! I know everybody gets crazy about him recently because of his death, but he left us with a marvelous performance, probably his best (in my opinion) he ever made on the screen. An interesting story, beautiful images, great costumes, I'm happy to have seen it and I'll see it again before having to wait the dvd.
