Very disappointing! Left the theatre as empty as when I came in. Don't even bother renting it!

On average I do about 40 movies a year in the theatre and this was probably one of the far more thought provoking ones I have spent my ten beans on in 2009! Forget Angels & Demons and all that other Hollywood promoted schlock. Unless that is what you enjoy paying your money over to see! At least make SOME effort and get it on DVD!!

I would start cursing right now. I rushed out of the house, went to go see this movie. I took my BFF to go see this movie for her BIRTHDAY and I can tell you worst gift I ever gave someone!!! Do not see it, I walked out mad everyone did , a few people satyed in the end. It sucked, unless you want to go home mad and think about suicide then go see it.

Way better than I thought it was going to be. The first half is really good. The second half is kinda far fetched science fiction like, but still pretty good. I recommend this film.

Went in not really expecting anything but came out pleasantly surprised. I'm sure most people don't get hence all the crappy reviews, which makes me wonder who thought it would be a good idea to turn it in to a movie. This movie had me thinking the almost the entire time. People need to not look at things for face value and try to find a deeper meaning.

The intro is waaay too long, and I'm sorry but Cameron Diaz is not suited at all for this role. A creative concept but I found it was still very lacking in too many ways.

This movie was not what I was expecting at all. If you go expecting a regular psychological thriller you will be very disappointed. It starts out okay but even from the beginning it has strange sequences that feel out of place and contain very obvious exposition. Once you get about a 3rd of the way through the film all hell breaks loose. It's like the every 10 minutes of the plot was written by different people who didn't discuss what they were going to write. The ideas are everywhere. It becomes paranormal so if you like that kind of thing... but that's not what makes it bad, it just feels like they had an idea but couldn't translate it properly to the story and tried to hard to add plot twists. However if you enjoy watching bad movies to get a laugh I would definitely recommend this movie.

I was so looking forward to seeing this movie... and I was SO disapointed. The whole movie was depressing, there was no happy point. The plot was unplausible and hard to follow. I do NOT reccomend this movie, and this is coming from someone who usually gives movies a chance.

Great psychological thriller on moral dilemma. I see the average rating is a 1, likely because most thought this would be another horror crapfest, which it is not.

Very farfetched... story jumped around a lot. Truly the worst movie I've ever seen. Suprised Cameron Diaz stooped to this level. I would have walked out but was waiting for my teens in another movie.

Wow, I can't believe Cameron Diaz actually decided to do this movie. James Marsden is not cut out for this type of role! Worst movie I've ever seen. SO many random scenes and the awful acting made it funny not scary or suspensful. The next time I see someone with a nosebleed I will die laughing. There were 2 good things: making fun of it and the ending.

I walked into this movies with high hopes thanks to the trailers I had seen on tv, but it turned out to not only be slow but highly predictable... I took a girl with me that scares easily at films and she didnt jump once. Frankly I think this movie was a waste of my money and time, though it did have a select few moments of humour and light interest.

I see that reading the reviews that most viewers want it "explained" leaving nothing to the viewer to fill in all of the blanks. I suppose that people don't like to think at all, but simply want to be entertained. Pity really that if you would open up to the idea of thinking, the richness of the film and its' philosophical musings would leave you highly entertained.

This is my first time posting a review on here. I've seen crappy movies in the past, but none so bad that I feel the need to warn others. Do not see this movie!!! Do not let the trailer fool you! The trailer makes the movie look interesting and suspensful, but the movie is a total sleeper. It starts out slow and never picks up. I actually fell asleep in this movie which is a first for me! The ending doesn't get any better because it's unsatisfying and doesn't answer any questions. Overall the script sucks you know what, and what with the cost of admission to the theatres these days, I felt totally ripped off! BE WARNED... this movie is a total waste of your evening, and more importantly, it is a total waste of money!

Words cannot express how bad this movie was. The only reason to rate this movie above 1/10 is if you were either a part of the movie, or if you have a severe mental disorder that blocks your ability to distinguish 'good' from 'absolutely terrible'

Hollywood is capable of producing some real (or "reel"...) crap. Proof here, yet again. I'd rather stare at a lamp for 2 hours then watch this type of nonsense... So way to go Hollywood! You owe about 360$ in movie tickets for all the garbage you put me through over the years.

The investment made to watch the movie up until the point where you discover "what is going on", is not worthwhile. Furthermore, acting is so-so; C. Diaz was casted poorly for her role, and there are too many unanswered questions & have a story so convoluted & mysterious that by the end of the film you don't care anymore --- about the characters nor the plot. Don't waste your time.

Unexpectedly philosophical--probably why the average rating is so low, since the promotional advertising would attract horror fans of lower sophistication, who would be disappointed. Not for most young adults just looking for a thrill.

I tought the movie was ok, better than others I watched I guess. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be though. I didn't really get it either. Like what was the purpose of the movie? What they just wanted an excuse for ppl to kill themselves kinda thing? I don't know! And the needing was actually sad I think. If that was me I dont know what I would have done but that just shows u that money can make u do anything!!! Money Is Evil!!!
