A must-see for all public servants. Anyone who knows government will howl at this! It's almost like an updated "Yes, Minister." I giggled, I laughed, I guffawed, I belly-laughed.

Great film. Very dark comedy and very political. Way too much reality for comfort by the end, but so well done, and so sharp and insightful (and funny) that I would recommend it highly.

I went preparing to absolutely love it but was very disappointed. Seems like the Brits have been sucked into the American form of humour, namely stressed out people screaming obscenities and smashing office equipment. This wasn't the British satire or wit that I know and love.

Very smart; may not appeal to everyone. Great for political junkies.

Great political satire, makes you wonder what really goes on behind the scenes in the government and military offices.

This was such a surprise! Why can't there be more movies like this? Intelligent, unusual and very, very funny. Savvy political and situational humour with wry jabs at everything in sight. The rare writer who can make fun of BOTH the English and the Americans. And one great line about Canada too.

This movie probably works better if you saw the series 'The thick of it' (available entirely on You Tube) I haven't been mesmerized by such brilliant characters in a long time. There is a lot going on and the Scottish swearing is at times hard to follow, but I laughed non stop.

Pretty stupid movie, unless you enjoy about 70 minutes of British swearing. Really pathetic caricatures of politicians and their aides. Has been compared to Yes, Minister TV show but shouldn't be. That show is clever and painfully funny. In the Loop is just painfully boring.

As an ardent Armando Iannucci fan, I was bitterly disappointed. If you go expecting the wit he has displayed elsewhere you'll leave unfulfilled. I sat through the film willing it to be funnier yet it failed to deliver. If you have to, get it on DVD.

Nonstop sharp wit; these are all credible people in an incredible tangle of misunderstandings and inappropriate behaviour. Yes, I could not stop laughing. If 'Wag the Dog' was the political machinations of very smart and devious people, 'In the Loop' is the machinations of everyone else. A gem.

It had some funny parts I can't disagree, but the action was missing...

Very cynical world view but it has some funny lines and for the more conspiritorial minded affirmation of their worst fears. Like most satire over the top caricatures abound.
