This movie taught me a lot about Capitalism in America, and some parts were really good and funny. But this movie had a weak start to it, and the two hours really dragged on. Overall, it was good, but not as good as some of Michael Moore's other movies. Still, it educates.

As usual Michael opens our eyes to the truth behind what is really going on; Capitalism is truly the epitome of evil, the perfect playground for the world's sociopaths! He also shows us that Capitalism & Democracy are NOT mutually exclusive; in fact, Democracy (and the US Constitution as written) is actually Socialism. If you're going to see any one film this year, it had better be this movie!!!

I like how two of the negative reviews parrot essentially the same opening line. Then then predictably call Moore a propagandist.

This movie is pretty good. Yes, if you know how the world works, nothing in this movie will be a surprise to you, just like with any MM movie. For the unenlightened people and average american public who are the target audience, this movie may appear interesting. However, if you are an intellectual, Noam Chomsky is far more interesting to read and to listen to than MM. But, nevertheless, this movie is far better than most MM movies, because it has less emphasis on the stupid american politics. As you know MM is a fan of the Democrats. But the reality is that both Democrats and Reps are equally evil. MM's perspective is therefore quite often compromised by the democrat propaganda he buys and then sells unfortunately through his movies. This movie and Sicko don't talk much about the politics and emphasize more on the real issues, that's why they are better and worth checking out.

I applaud Moore for what he does, engaging the public on topics that need proper debate. Unfortunately I found "Capitalism..." to be all over the map. There were parts that were very good but certainly not his best.

An absolute watch. Inform yourselves of what these companies are doing to middle class people and if you haven't been affected, well, be sure that if we don't listen to the likes of Moore, you soon will be. Wake up people.

Saw this with my wife in our hometown. We've never seen so many people hang around through the credits! Spontaneous discussions broke out, and several large groups congregated outside the theater after the movie to discuss it. Simply fascinating to see. Michael Moore definitely has some friends in Canada. He made a big impact with the large audience we watched with. A fabulous and thought-provoking movie. 4 thumbs way up from us!

Michael Moore is to film what McDonald's is to food: junk. There is no reasoned analysis here. It is just images and therefore propaganda. His point, I am not sure, he had no real intellectuals in the movie proving it is simply fodder for the masses. I hope the level of discourse can be raised above Michael Moore movies who himself got rich off of his own brainlessness. Some cool takes on progressive companies; and that's about it.

Michael Moore workin' his mojo again. Not his best work for sure, but somewhat illumininating and worth seeing, especially those whom are naive to the subject matter.

Michael More is to economics what McDonald's is to food - pure junk. There was no intelligent analysis here, it was scaremongering and propaganda for a world with no institutional analysis whatsoever. Did this guy go to university? He should got the the Universite de Montreal and learn about the real emergency that Ben Bernanke successfully staved off by the kind of ignorance he is peddling.

Michael Moore films are pretty much are all saying the same thing Bush (republicans) Bad, Obama (democrats) Good, Corporate America (capitalism) Bad, Big Government (socialism) Good. He would be more impactful if he showed he was capable of bipartisanship. Corruption/greed exists in all of society - across party lines, race, religion, gender and age. Moore's films are "red" meat for the leftist liberals just like Rush Limbaugh is "red" meat for the rightwing conservatives. They both make a lot of money.

Michael Moore movies generally should be taken with a grain of salt. Of course it is quite biased and doesn't actually give the viewer any real knowledge. It is also full of fallacious appeals to emotion. Many arguments are backed by unrelated examples. He brings up some interesting points, but there's a lot of garbage in there.

A great movie, insightful and if some find it to be a repeat of certain 'scripts', it's because it's continuing to happen - in all aspects of our lives, we continue to be had - cudos to Micheal Moore for bringing this to our faces and talking about it - I hope he continues -

A good move, not great. Yes, there were some good points made and some inspirational "one person can make a difference" clips. As is typical for Moore's films a LOT of info is missing and this so-called documentary is one man's slant on a controversial topic. However, I do believe Moore's films serve a purpose and that people should see this film and hopefully it will awaken some from the comfortable "sheepness" that is all too common amongst middle-class North America. If it makes one person open their eyes and want to actually LOOK for themselves at what is going on in this world, then that is a good thing. The fact that some people have to see this movie to become aware for the first time that capitalism can corrupt and that the US gov't is run by corporate America is another sad commentary on our society. People, please wake up!

Another hypocritical bit of manipulative drivel from the slob who has gotten rich from capitalism. This was a subject that provided ample material for a critique, but Moore just changed a few names and served up Roger & Me II.

A shocking documentary! The idea that Walmart and other companies take out insurance on employess (dead peasants) is nothing short of sinful. What companies do in the name of profit is just GREED in its highest form. Michael Moore is exposing capitalisms "dark side". A great exposee!

Moore does an excellent job of presenting a damning portrait of modern unregulated American capitalism. Moore explores the deliberate unravelling of the financial regulatory system beginning under Ronald Reagan, and brilliantly illustrates the eventual consequences by interviewing recent middle class victims of various abusive financial schemes, including the nightmare of house repossession, cancelled pensions, and predatory insurance schemes. A truly sad reflection of corruption on Wall Street with the accompanying fallout of a disintegrating American industrial base and a disappearing American middle class.

10/10 is required for even attempting to talk about this subject. Moore went from covering 5% of the 911 story, to 15% of the financial crisis story: a clear improvement! Either his research is poor or he purposely doesn't want to shock too much (even though he could afford it) It is no secret to anyone with a minimum of curiosity that Wall Street / Int'l Bankers are crooks of the worse kind (see THE MONEY MASTERS) So again, touché on the tip of the iceberg: better than nothing.

Best Moore movie yet. If this movie doesn't get your blood boiling nothing will... I say this and I'm not even a Micheal Moore fan, but hands down... it's smart, it's accurate at times it's funny and it's often plain sad. The movie made me agree and left with the conviction that capitalism sucks!

What a disappointment. And I wanted so much to watch in glee as Moore presented a case to show the conservatives how inefficient and un workable unfettered capitalism really is. But he did not do that. His work was shoddy, disconnect and pointless. Take the airline pilot thing: yes, it seems unfair that pilots make so little money. But Moore did not connect the reason why they make so little money to capitalism nor did he point out that if pilots made more money, my ticket price would increase. Nor did he point out that the airlines are making profits on the backs of the pilots. He just told some sad stories but he did not make connections. It leaves holes for the conservatives to bash away at him with. And Moore did that with the entire movie. Sad stories but very little if any connection to the point that these things happend because capitalism doesn't work. And the call to arms at the end. How hypocritical he sounded. Why isn't he out there making speeches and leading people? Oh, I am so disillusioned with him.

This movie was a waste, (I guess I just helped add to Moore estimated $50 million dollar fortune), the movie is basically a collection of propaganda themes against Capitalism in all its forms; the work lacked totally in objectivity and seemed to be blaming capitalism for all of America’s short comings including the Katrina disaster response, while some points he makes are valid, they have certainly been discredited when included in this movie. All in all the movie is pretty boring, except for few laughs here and there, I wouldn’t recommend spending money to watch it.

Though I agree with some of what Michael Moore has to say, I found the whole movie to be tedious. It felt like the repeat of an old script, a washed out version of his previously more creative movies. I think he got lazy with this one.

Go and see the film if you have nothing better to do with your $$$ other than to donate them to Michael Moore's pension fund. The movie is typical of Michael Moore - in this case, the hypocritical capitalist that he is. Capitalism is certainly not perfect but it is better than all other systems.

This is a movie that everyone who has bought into the American dream, but finds themselves losing ground should see. Moore has a point of view - the working guy - and presents it well. The difference between democracy and rampant capitalism is not well understood, being complex and difficult to explain, but Moore does so with ease. If you want to understand what has happened to the economy, see this movie. Then act accordingly.

This is so true. An elite group of greedy heartless evil doers who are controlling our lives. Can we do anything about it? Yes we can. Together we stand, but divided we fall into their slimy hands. Join an activist group. We have lost our freedom to the seduction of the elite. Boycott and revolt if need be. We do not have to take it anymore!

Micheal exposes the greedy banking system, but why not the nefarious group known as the "illuminati" the 13 families that run the world? They run the banks, religion, media, and governments, expose them and we have something more substantial to show the public.

Michael Moore is once again feeding propaganda to the masses and they're lapping it up. He is unquestionably the master of misrepresentation and lives in a world of half-truths. He, not his, is the sad commentary of our times. See it if you must but leave your brain at home.

Moore dives into too many issues, and judging by some of the reviews, people don't get it. Should these CEO's get a chance in regulating after clearly messing up? Why do the Democrats still have no backbone? Where is the regulation when it comes to ETHICS? Why should companies be allowed to profit on an employee's death? I think Moore should narrow the focus and expose these things and call out names to perhaps make a change for the better.
