What was Hollywood thinking? This poor excuse for a movie is NOT deep or thought-provoking. It's pure unadulterated crap. If I had been in a theater, I would have walked out. I rented this boring, dull, film and stopped it after 18 minutes. I think if I had watched the whole whole thing I would have killed myself. Some poeple envision hell as fire and brimstone. I picture hell as being forced to sit through movies like this one. This movie makes "glitter" and "Gigli" look like masterpieces.

Going in there not knowing what to expect, me and my friends were blown away. Fifteen minutes into the movie, I turned to them and said: "What [...] is this? ", and the question was still unanswered at the end of the movie. [...] Good job from Dustin Hoffman, Marky Mark and Naomi Watts in there.

Loved the movie, the music, the acting... why ask for more? And please, there are much worse movies out there, so stop ranting about "worst movie ever! " - you sound like the Comic Book Guy!!

Pretentious is one word to describe this movie. Overly long is another. Disappointing considering the actors. Many times during this movie I asked myself 'what is this movie trying to say? ' I walked out still wondering - some people - evidently less patient than me - left the movie before it finished.

This film is a very humorous and thought provoking. Instantly one of my all-time favourites. Interesting philosophical storyline, great actors and great performances. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this film, despite its lack of plot. The storyline is not exactly deep, but the film itself is great. It's an interesting look into how we live our lives and the way that we interact with others. It shows a lot about the human psyche and how every moment of our lives affects us in some way, shape or form. Funny, interesting and thought provoking, I Heart Huckabees was a great film for those who don't mind a little thinking every now and again.

PHILISOPHICAL AND FUNNY, a dark sense of humor is helpfull here. It's not youre average day hollywood flick it touches on the lighter side of infinity if you like Castaneda novels you will probably like this.

The worst of the worst, less than entertaining and we left 20 minutes into the film. Dissappointing with the line up of actors!!

I'm not sure whether I was in the cinema with a bunch of existentialists, but they were laughing out loud all through. I thought the movie was *interesting* - but couldn't laugh out loud at many points at all. Perhaps it was just my British reserve kicking in. Anyway, nice choice of cast - and good brain candy for a Tuesday night.

It was hilarious and well done which leaves one pondering during and after the film. It gives a lasting impression and touches on many social issues. Anyone who cares about our world and our society should definitely see this! Deeply rooted in philosophy and social/environmental issues, the movie was well made in a comedic way. Although, I must admit, for those who go through life apathetic about the plights of others but themselves, this movie will be confusing.

It makes me sad to see so many low scores for this brilliant film, [...] If you do, however, have an affinity for truly creative filmmaking, this movie will blow your mind. Extraordinary cast, hilarious script, just superb all around!

If anyone suggests you see this movie, run away as far and as fast as you can. [...] Cardboard characters and a disjointed storyline. Sorry, this isn't a think piece, just a piece of junk. Not even worth a rental.

Fresh and new. Great cast mixing new and old stars, impressive mix. Wahlberg is superb and funny. Watts as always is excellent. Difficult to follow at first. Puts forth existential theories quite well from what I could tell although I can't help but imagine that the film's ideas could have been driven home better. Nevertheless, funny, intelligent, good performances, innovative and entertaining in a cerebral kind of way.

An odd little picture that wont be for everyone. Basically the film
deals with the notion of how abstract academic theories of existence
have no practically in everyday life. In what I suppose is meant
as comedy relief, this picture shows us that highbrow intellectual
theory about the meaning and purpose of life can never be relative to the
basic animal instincts that are within all of us. We are still of the
earth and always will be, therefore pure theory cant help us. If this
sounds
intriguing then I suggest you see this picture, otherwise, find something
else would be my practical advice.
