American Gangster [2007] Movie Reviews on CinemaClock

This movie is a sure hit and a classic movie in the genre of gangster films throughout history. Right up there with Scarface and The Godfather, American Gangster gives the audience a great story lead by an even greater cast. Denzel Washington is at his best yet again. The movie locations are spectacular and the story takes you through the life of a criminal that you can't help but love. Frank Lucas is a criminal that works like a surgeon as he tears into the American dream with a vengeance. I went into this movie with high expectations and I wasn't disappointed. BET - Black Entertainment Television aired an episode of American Gangster that showcased the real Frank Lucas and I highly recommend it in addition to watching the movie.
