It was predictable, took a few turns, but you quickly got the idea of where they were bringing it. Some funny scenes, but it wasn't a "great" comedy.

This is not a typical stoner movie as the characters were all just a little off from what I expected. Certainly they were not predictable and the story itself took a few left turns when you think they would go right. Pretty funny, but not hilarious. Overall it was entertaining. Try not to take it seriously, but I think it helps to be on something before watching!

It's not true that you have to be a stoner to appreciate this movie... I'm not one, but I loved it! You can appreciate the bad judgment calls and the stupid things that (insert one: drugs, booze, love)can make you do. There are some extreme examples of silliness in this movie, and even though accompanied by some unfortunate violence, it did not detract one bit from the movie for me--it was instrumental in inducing extreme panic from our two slacker heroes, played hilariously by Seth Rogen and James Franco. You haven't seen funny quite like Seth Rogen playing panic like his back is up against an electric fence--I laughed so hard and so often I can't even remember which scene that was in. Have to see it again. Totally recommended--frenetic and funny-not a dull minute. Some suspension of disbelief required, though. As for the critics who thought it was gross that this was a 26-year old dating a high school girl, Get real!! She's 18 (legal age in some states, and here in Canada), for God's sake!! Lots of 18-year old girls (and younger) date guys in their twenties (at least they did when I was in HS)!! You'd think by some reviews that the girl was 14!! I will catch flak for this, but I liked it much more than "Knocked Up", which I thought was cute but not nearly as funny as this. Stoner+thriller=funny **** out of *****

This was a pretty funny movie. Seth Rogen is great as always. I am definitely not a stoner and I still loved it. The whole theater was laughing. Go see this if you want to have a really good laugh.

Really nice movie. At first I really wasn't sure I'd like it. I thought it was all stupidities everywhere with no story. I found the story to be quite interesting and there was a lot of nice action too, while still having a lot of funny moments. I really enjoyed this movie, it was worth the money.

Wow wow wow, I just cried near the end cause it was so funny couldn't breath. This red coming back with his daewoo, or this Sale Shooting the black guy who came back for revenge. So funny most see movie.

I couldn't laugh at some of the funniest parts because I was too busy catching my breath from the previous part. One of the only movies I've ever seen more than once in theatres, I may even go again. You don't need to smoke weed to find it funny [...]

This was awful worst movie Ive seen in years. Two stoners that beat up and kill drug dealers. You think Cheech and Chong could kill Tony Montana? Don't waste your money.

Not too bad. It had some funny parts and some really stupid parts but they pretty much balanced each other out to make a semi-decent movie in the stoner genre. It was good in that it wasn't predictable.

It had a few funny parts. I love the Apatow crew but this one was just not as good as his other films. Franco and Mcbride were the only 2 good actors... the rest were just not funny.

Usually, I like this kind of movie... but this one's a rental. A few big laughs, but they weren't consistently funny. They were obviously high when they wrote this. All the funny parts are in the previews.

This was no joke the worlds funny [...] movie ever James Franco and Seth Rogen and the best of friends in real life and they were perfect together in the movie and James Franco for those who didn't know he is actually a stoner in real life.

FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER I was laughing the whole time James Fraanco was awesome... he still managed to look hot even if he was in pajamas... funny is an understatement you have to go see it if your into dumb funny movies I could watch it a billion times... even if it was a movie about marijuana :)
