I kept going back and forth on this film. It had potential but does not reach it. It did keep my attention. Brothers were interesting although far fetched, as well as most of the scams.

Incredibly funny, amazing style, and an all around classy heist film. If you want entertainment with brains, you will find it here. Must see!

The true cinephile will find in this film a good, pilosophical script, quirky cinematography, above average acting and lovely scenery. The plot is average. Pleasant summer entertainment but it didn't blow me away.

Quirky humour, great casting, shot in fantastic locations. Plot keeps you guessing until the end. I'm surprised people have been rating it poorly.

I really loved this movie. I loved it so much I saw it two day later again. Its one of those movie thats alittle campy and stuff happens that could only happen in a movie but if you go along for the ride it will take you on a very good one. I loved the clothes, music, actors, cinematography, I even loved the props. If you don't like this movie well then it went over your head. Otherwise go see this movie it's not oceans 11 but its good in its own little way.

This film is poorly executed. The concept is there but it remained on the cutting room floor.

Lame. Unbelievable characters. Silly cons. Who wrote this stuff? Melodramatic ending... but who would care by then? Read non-anonymous reviews before you spend your $$$ on this awful movie.

This is wannabe Cohen Bros. But it is landing far far away from being any good. There are some funny moments, but all in all, it is a flop.

Any complaints for this movie, one would have to assume stem from it going over their head. Movies that are smart, fun, well crafted and beautiful are a rarity, and I can easily say that The Brothers Bloom is all these things. An excellent example of cinema, a popcorn movie with both smarts and soul. Really, you should go see it.

Not your typical run of the mill movie, which is why I enjoyed it as much as I did - the casting was perfect, few others could have pulled this off. It's quirky, plays with time (a steamboat to cross the Atlantic nowadays?!) and thoroughly satisfying. My hesitation in rating it higher stems from the first 15-20 mins, which I felt were choppy and uneven (I actually was not enjoying the movie for that first part but then it took off)

Ever since they were little kids, the bloom brothers conned their way through practically everything! Now, the younger of the two notorious (and hillarious if I may add..) siblings, played by the talented Adrian Brody (Best actor Academy Oscar in the 'Pianist') decides to call it quits and seek a normal and clean life... But upon the insistance of his older brother (played by Mark Ruffalo), he reluctantly accepts to do one more job masterminded by his inexhaustable brother! The victim? A beautiful multi-millionaire and multi-talented woman who's also very lonely! The scam dictates that Brody gets her to fall in love with him by pretending to be madly in love with her; The idea is for him to make enough money off her in order to assure himself a comfortable future, leaving the croocked life way behind him! Adrian Brody happens to be one of my favourite actors! ; His charm, wit, unmistakably natural sensitivity and a touch of accentricity-makes him simply perfect for this role, and very lovable at that! As for the lovely Rachel Weisz (Ennemy at the gate) is a natural in this one and very believable!. Might I also add that she looks simply stunning as well in this one! I have to admit that Mark Buffalo does a great job as well-for he is very convincing in this movie (like in most of his characters)! ; Last but not least, what's to say about Bang Bang Kituchi? (just the name makes me laugh) lol- whom despite the fact that she plays deaf-mute in this one is simply the life of the party and many may think that she even steals the show-of course not to take anything from the other characters' exceptional talent! Thanks for director Rian Johnson (Brick) and the great performances, 'The Bloom Brothers' is a very funny comedy that will leave you in stitches quite a few times, with highly colorfull characters- worth seeing for sure! I recommend it to you all without any hesitation! ; Enjoy!

This movie had a lovable cast and characters. Many moments were funny, quirky, and a bit too much, but it was all extremely entertaining. I will warn you all though; this movie had a heartbreaking, clever ending where you really get to see the bond between the two brothers. If you're looking for a movie with a happy, predictable ending, do not choose this one. All in all, I enjoyed it.

Not quite a solid '8' but more than a '7'. It is quirky, unpredictable, and filled with a wry sense of self-parody that delights. The conclusion is heavy handed, and overplayed the con just one twist too many. Great theme about the importance of living the spontaneous 'unwritten life' -- which we ultimately do only when the unconscious becomes conscious. But then, if we weren't so unconscious, how could the trickster archetype con us so artfully?

Incredibly entertaining with this con man comedy that had laughter, adventure, and romance. Good fun entertainment except for an expected ending that I did not care for. Cinematography--terrific as we are taken on a world adenturous trip with amazing images of the countries visited. Top-notch acting by all the cast especially the scene stealers Kituchi and Weisz --a pleasure to watch their comedic skills Good entertainment!
