Astérix & Obélix being a comic cartoon book serie based on ancient history to start with, it would be hard to enjoy this film if you haven't updated your notions of history, if you don't notice the obvious delirious enactment of Sarcozy in Brutus, etc., etc. Although the actors' performance is unequal and that I couldn't recognize all the famous "real" guest appearances (Schumacher, etc.), fully enjoyed this great piece of European/French humor... delightful!!
