Considering the big names, this movie is quite boring with only a few really good laughes. It is glaringly poorly edited with one staged scene after another spliced together. It's unfortunate because it certainly had the potential for something much better.

Overdone storyline, a couple funny moments, but overall not their best movie by far.

Though the movie did have its highs and lows in comedy, I felt that this was more of a family orientated movie more then it was comedy for these 2 actors to be doing. Comedy was predictable and in most cases was slap stick humour that was easily predictable. Definitely more of a drama comedy.

What I really liked about this movie was that it was very family friendly a rarity these days. Good cast and generally good scenarios for a good laugh a few things were over the top.

Terrible!!! With such big names you would think it would have been done better. Who's ultimately responsible for screening films before they are released. In about 95% of the movie you could see the microphone over their head. Did Calgary get the roll of film that wasn't screened or rejected?!?!? It definitely took away from the movie. Kids laughed but then I can make them laugh with a funny face. Don't think the story was anything special. Comedy was weak and predictable. I wouldn't have paid to go see this movie... my work paid for it for the kids X-mas party. I can't understand why anybody would give this movie a higher rating than what it deserves... NONE!

It's a great little family movie to take your kids to. Either I was too tired to enjoy much of the comedy or it just didn't tickle my funny bone. There was a lot of slap stick type humour in it.

Poorly stitched together script. Predictable, but mildly entertaining. Good laughs in second half of the movie. Better rental than theatre.

I was on my way to see the blind side and got my times wrong so I had a choice between Old Dogs and We Are All Fine. Both looked bad but I was already there so I went with Old Dogs. The movie was super lame! Very few laugh's mostly over done crap. The movie will make you tense do to the embarrassing overacting and painful script. I wonder who wears more makeup between these two and Nicolas Cage. I am convinced the people giving this a 10 were paid off.

Simply idiotic. There are many options available for you spend your 10+ dollars that are more rewarding than this movie. Buy a book, eat some lunch, take a friend out for coffee, donate to Sun Youth, tear the cash to shreds & save the 1.5 hours of your life that you'll never get back.

This movie makes me wonder what are these actors thinking when they read the scripts. It has a few funny parts, but is contrived. A mish mash of scenes telling a lame (unbelievable) story. Do these actors want to destroy their careers? Keep accepting these type of roles and it's a sure thing. Enjoy the show! (Just not this one)

It was just 'okay'. Seems to have skipped the editing phase - in many scenes you could see suspended microphones at the top of the screen - which was very distracting.

Here is the movie. Bored for 10 minutes. Laugh at something really stupid. Bored for 10 minutes. Laugh at something really stupid... and so on and so on. What a bunch of fluff. This movie was pointless.

This was a great relax, and laugh movie. It wasn't designed to have movie goers have a great thought provoking experience. It was a feel good be happy with your life movie. Its nice to see a movie minus the violence and cursing fond in action movies. I love to see Williams and Travolta in movies. They make a good team.

Good slapstick humour. John and Robin seem to work well together and play off of each other. I enjoyed this movie and laughed in many parts of the movie. Seth Green is great.

This movie is for young kids at best... If you are looking for classic Williams then look elsewhere. I think it's his worst performance ever mostly due to a dreadful script and poor direction. Travolta was not much better. I wonder if Travolta being a producer and his daughter's role, was a contributing factor to such a mediocre production for such heavy weights.

A Walt Disney Picture's Comedy, Old Dogs, starring Robin Williams and John Travolta with newcommers Conner Rayburn and John's daughter, Ella Blue Travolta. It is a good movie but not what I expected, I mean not so funny as I was told. Anyway, it's worth seeing...

For all those people who said they laughed till they cried... they don't get out enough! This movie was lame. Did I say lame? I meant ultra, primo lame. It wouldn't even cut it as a 'made for TV' movie.

This wasn't the greatest movie that's for sure. Don't spend 40 to see it at the theatre. It isn't that funny and it's definitely just a renter. Acting wasn't anything special.

I rate this 6 and a half, because the movie was slow and they showed almost all the scenes in the trailer and the acting was poor, but almost at all scenes I thought were sometimes stupid but hilarious. SO, overall this movie was pretty good but acting wasnt good and the story was slow.

Old dogs. Hmm its really funny and its nice to watch it with friends. You laugh a lot and an okay moral to it. It's not as funny as wild hogs but its still hilarious. Not a must see cuz oubviously it's not a classic movie but if you're depressed go see it :P

Since I usually like John Travolta and love Robin Williams, I was very disappointed by this movie. The comedy level is similar to that of Pink Panther (with Steve Martin, not Peter Sellers); if you liked that one, you may enjoy this. Otherwise, stay away.

I thought this movie was hilarious! My kids didn't quite 'get' what was so funny as they are a little young to appreciate some of the humor. I wasn't all that pumped at first but the movie didn't let us down!
