When a mother takes her family to live in a small town in California, she doesn't expect the move to impact upon her boys as much as it does. In an attempt to woo the girl of his dreams, her eldest son joins a group of bikers, who stay out all night and sleep all day. But, the new friends that her youngest son hangs out with are perhaps the most worrying. In the gang of teenage vampires, their new recruit is not quite so certain about the trouble he is getting into.
