This film is mesmerising. It's a compelling and uncompromising look into the Camorrah syndicate, shot in a semi-documentary style, and is nothing short of perfection. It is stunningly violent but clearly aware of what it wants to say.

This powerful, gripping, violent, realistic movie is not for the faint-hearted. Bravo to Matteo Garrone -this talented director of Italian cinema--he has done it again--a GREAT movie.

What an intense piece of film! After 2 hours I felt like I can still sit and watch it for hours and hours! I didn't wanted it to stop.

The two pre-Black. Jack reviewers were probably looking for something along the lines of The Fast and the Furious. This movie is excellent, well acted, well crafted and believable. Very tense. Glad that's not MY neighborhood.

There is tension throughout this movie, you never know when something is going to happen; it makes it difficult to go to the washroom. It's a little long but it's very raw. Good acting. Worth 7½.

As the other reviewer said, this movie is a bit too slow. However it does offer a raw and gritty look at the Camorra operating in Naples today.
