I haven't even watched this movie and it looks like crap. People who give it high ratings are completely retarded and I have no idea how they could like it. I feel sorry for Mike Myers that he had to be part of this crap film. Little kids may like it but it was actually rated one of the worst films in recent history. Don't ever make a movie like this again.

I really really loved this movie lol I like movies like this ya noe wut I mean... also finding nemo that wuz good 2 but the cat in the hat is way better I mean im 14 and I luved this movie I noe im ''too hold'' for kids movie but its fun to watch them they're sooo kute lol I hope another one comes lol the cat in the hat 2 hahaa who ever hates this movie... well guess wut thurs alot of ppl who dunt hate it so live with it and if u thot it wuz bad in the first place why did you even see it if it wusnt worth it? See wut I mean anyways I just have 2 say that I LOVED THIS MOVIE:D ce film est tellement bon je vous le dit VOYEZ LE!!! I can put 11/10 but I cant lol.

I didn't think the movie was what it would be and it wasn't as funny. I agree that it wasn't mad for children which was disapointing, but take it for what it is. I thought the scenery was all very good, and the acting was good, it just wasn't that funny. It had its funny points though. It was a cute movie.

You have to be kidding. People actually gave this movie a 10? This piece of trash must go down as the worst movie of the year! Mike is lame! I'd wouldn't be surprised if Mike's career as an actor ends. This movie should end his career. Yes, its that bad. Anyone who gave this movie a rating over 3, has no idea what a good movie is if it hit them in the face. [...] AVOID THIS MOVIE!!! Cat in the Hat sets a whole new meaning for the word "SUCKS"!! Well, I liked the movie and so did my 5 year old son, who still brings up some of the funnier moments and replays them in front of me. I certainly didn't expect "Dead Poets Society", and I got what I paid for: a chil's movie... one that this adult certainly enjoyed and some of you negative nay-sayers could get a grip and take a look in the mirror... you know, the one in yer Mom's basement? ::rolleyes::.

Ugh... Terrible movie... The kids have no acting talent whatsoever, Mike Meyers was pretty funny but it's not enough to save the movie. The production looks like something you'd throw up after having manicotti and the screenplay is a total mess. One of the worst films of the year.

It was a good movie for a family to see but not quite what I expected. I was sure that there would be a lot of funny scenes but I can't remember even laughing once. My six year old daughter enjoyed it but I think many adults will be disappointed.

What a waste of time! You take a good storybook from Dr. Seuss, add some crude humor and plumber butt, with a whole lot of bad acting and this is what you get. I was embarrassed to take my son. I wish I could give it a "0" as I wish I never went. See Lord of the Rings - Return of the King - NOW THAT'S A MOVIE!

This was a pretty bad movie. The set was really cool and must have cost a lot and thats pretty much all I can say about this movie. Myers needs to get a new gig. This whole austin powers thing needs to STOP! The sexual innuendos were pretty lame and innappropriate anyway. I wouldnt reccommend this movie at all.

I am vey worried about the world, I read reviews and they're all like, this is terrible, it's stupid, Mike Meyers is an idiot, blah blah blah. People, it's a children's movie, it's supposed to be funny and silly and you know what, it is. It is really silly. Good. It is really funny. Good. Mike Meyers is all his silly characters rolled into one. Good. It's Dr. Suess, it's not rocket science. No blood. No violence. And the children walked out laughing. I'd say this movie did it's job and then some. Maybe people think that growing up means losing your sense of joy and wonder and silliness, no, it is keeping all those while accepting being responsible, reliable and rational. This movie was funny, what else did you want from it?

I took my three children; aged 2, 8 and 9, to see the 'The Cat in the Hat'. We enjoyed the humour, special effects and loved the bright colours. Mike Meyers was very well disguised as the 'Cat' and the children in the movie did a great job acting. We truly enjoyed this movie as a family. I personally enjoyed 'The Cat in the Hat' more so then the 'The Grinch'. All three children enjoyed it and got something unique out of the film. We will definitely watch it again when it comes on DVD.

I HATED THIS MOVIE!!! I actually wanted a refund of my money! I was so disapionted with it but I guess I shouldn't have expected anything better. I hope nobody else is going to have to waste their money and time with this pathetic excuse for a movie! The best thing about it was that it was only a hour and a half long so I didn't have to be tortured for very long. It was worse then double periods of scince and math in a row!

I hated it. I think they needed to put more time in it, more details to it, and Mike sucked, the kids were cool I guess, the whole town had the same house, car &trees. I think it is the worst move ever and I think it was unappropriate.

We were very disappointed! I went with my daughter and 5 yr old grandson and was sooo upset that thye managed to trash Dr. Suess. How can you find sexual inuendos in Dr. Suess? Exactly. Dr. Suess had far more meaning than this crap. He was after all the original rapper. The set design was fabulous and that was the only good thing about this show.

It's really too bad that so many of us don't have any imagination anymore. It's a movie about a cat that wears a hat and is disliked by a fish. It's a FUN movie... Of course there's not a huge, twisting plot! People are a little worried about the level of maturity of the movie, but Mike Myers was no more crude than Jim Carry in "The Grinch". There are adult jokes, but there are in most children's movies. I liked it, and I urge you to give the movie a chance.
