This was a thought-provoking remarkable film based on a true story with a history lesson. Using the actual tapes of Senator McCarthy and showing the film in black and white was effective and realistic. Great all around acting, especially David Strathairn--brilliant portrayal of Murrow who deserves an Oscar. Well-written, well-directed and well-acted film. Go see the movie!!
