A young man, Adam, has lived his whole life in a bomb shelter, the son of a couple who have been living down there since the Cuban Missile Crisis. Now, 30 years later, with supplies running low, he's sent out into the world to do 2 things: find supplies, and find a wife. He soon meets a young lady, Eve, played by Alicia Silverstone who becomes his guide to the modern world. With this very modern young lady as his guide, this man raised within the boundaries of another time will try to make his way into the 21st century.
