This is one of THE best epic films ever. The performances are superb, the scenery is awesome, (and those fight scenes were certainly realistic looking) the music, perfect and the whole film simply has "Winner" written all over it. It was obvious that Russell Crowe would get that Oscar, but a few other actors also deserved one too. If you don't mind a little gore, and you appreciate damn good acting & dialog, paired with an extremely interesting story, then see Gladiator -- you won't be sorry..
