Excellent movie with suspense, mystery and wonderful ending. It is a movie that you can see over and over and there is always some clue that you might have missed the first time you see it on the next.

I saw the movie, and I absolutely loved it. It was very well done. It had a good story, was scary, everything. We need more movies like that, and I thought Kevin Costner was great as always. I would recommend anyone see it when they get the chance. It is worth the money by far.

I just loved this movie. There's great suspense all the way. And the philosophy of it, I mean wow! Just shows you that even in death, a mother and wife will do anything for her loved ones. Absolutely great! :)

Really good suspense, but why not a horror movie too? I mean there's some scenes that really makes us jump of our seats. I Really like the end.

It's a very very very good film. It's not boring at all and you can accept what happends. I think it is the best movie ever about 'life after dead' and it's a winner! Great.

I just finished watching the movie tonight and, all I can say is "Wow, solid movie"; good acting - Kathy Bates is always a good choice and, while I usually "resist" Kevin Costner movies, I was pleasantly surprised by him in this one. It didn't leave me feeling cheated or disappointed, the way so many other movies have made me; I'm tired of seeing bad to mediocre movies and it's refreshing to finally be seeing some good ones. A few good scares, tugs at the heart-strings, appropriately titled (I love that) ; very cute baby who looked *just* like the mother when she grew up! - (I'm sure that was deliberate) ;) I would love a guy to go to the lengths Kevin Costner (Joe) did for his wife Emily in this movie. *sigh* A girl can dream can't she? (Please, if you're out there, contact me!) A must see; don't miss it.

The loss of a loved one is always a great trick to knock down the feelings of the viewers. Somehow in Dragofly it worked. Maybe Costner is getting good at choosing his projects now.

Ya I saw Dragon Fly and I thought it was the worse movie ever made, it was a waste of my money, and whoever made it must had a lot of money to waste, because for sure I would never go see it again.

I LOVED the movie. Went with a girlfriend and apparenltly I was gripping her arm during the really freaky parts... I didnt realize until afterward that I was grabbing her!! The story was great, but like other people, I was expected MORE at the end. It was almost like the budget ran out and they had to do something. It was effective though, I will give them that. I had a problem with Kathy Bates Character. She seemed to have no personality and was not integral to the movie at all. She easily could have been left out and had the same effect! She was supposed to be Kevin Costners characters good friend, but something in the way she spoke and the things she said drove me nuts! If I had a friend who talked to me like that I would drop em!!

My wife and I both enjoyed the movie, it made me jump in my seat, it kept us guessing with a story that was interesting and believable. Although the acting was good enough to applaud the entire cast, it won't make it to the Oscars. The fact that there is a super natural element to the movie may be a distraction for some. However, the trick to enjoying this film is to let yourself belive in life after death, at least for the run of the movie.

Well I thought it was a pretty good movie. Scared me half to death. You knew something scary was gonna happen but you'd jump anyways. I thought the storyline wasn't bad, The ending a bit corny... and some people said it was a bit predictable. I must have been too much into the movie to think of what was gonna happen next, so yeah I was surprised with the twist of things. I say go and see it but make sure you have someone to grab onto when you get scared.

Ok there is only one thing to say THIS MOVIE BLOWS. It was rather dull and predictable. Kevin Costner made two good movies in his day and this definitely wasnt it. I fell asleep watchin this movie. It had no plot not suspense and it definitely wasn't a thriller. [...]

It was great I went to go see it with my friends and we were all screaming at the scary parts. Like when the parot sais HONEY IM HOME!!! And in the begining of the movie the guy said that his wife tought the parot to say that when she got back home. And my friends and I are like AAAAAAAAAHH!!! Then he goes to the kitchen were the parot is, and the parot goes wack. And we were screaming at that part also. So the parot was like on the ground and guy looks at him and kneels down. He looks up, , and see's his wife's spirit in the window. We were like AAAAAAAAAAAAHH!! At that part too. So go see it! You won't belive the ending! It's just such a great ending!! Ending!!! It's such an emotional ending!!! Ending!!! Bye!! PS: Ending!!! Don't miss the ending!!!! It's so cute!! You'll know what I meen by cute when you see the ENDING!!

I went to see Dragonfly last night. I liked the movie, but it wasn't the drama/thriller/romance movie that I thought or expected it to be. Guess I was expecting too much. I recently lost my mother so I could relate to his grief. To me, packing up a loved ones clothes and belongings really cuts deep to the heart! I thought the ending was good, but wanted something more. There were a couple of scenes that really touched my emotions. If you’re looking for another ”Dances With Wolves”, stay home. I've not seen all the movies Kevin has been in or produced, but as for the ones I have seen I enjoyed them. Also, I was expecting Kathy Bates to play a more dynamic roll, but I didn't find that to be the case either. I found her role to be rather hum drum. Guess she must be trying to break her stereotype. I think on a scale from 1 – 10 I would give it a 7. Perhaps if I see it again I might find something I missed..

Quite predictable, which doesn't really make it a thriller. If you've seen the trailers you know the movie.

A true disappointment. Not much action throughout the movie except for a couple of “cheap” thrills that were very predictable before it happened, thus, eliminating the “jump off your seat” intention. The ending was nice although you were left asking yourself “Did it have to take this long? ” Personally, I wouldn’t even recommend renting the video..

I saw Dragonfly with my 8 year old son today. We both liked it and my son even went as far as saying we should by it when it comes out on tape. Kevin played a strong serious roll. It dealt with the subject of life after death and communication with those in the afterlife in a sensitive and honorable way. If you are into spiritual questions and feel as though you are in a search in life, this movie may be of interest to you.

This movie gets a 4. It was was not only too long, but it lacked in everything I look for in a movie. The believability and fear factor was low. Kevin Costner did not live up to his acting potential. My opinion: wait until the movie comes out on video, don't waste money.

OH MY GOD!!! This movie is like WOW!!! I got out of the movie theatre with my friends and all three of us were like, I've got to see that movie again! So this week, I'm gonna go see it again with another pack of friends! One hint, this movie is Fascinating. It's impossible to predict whats going to happen next. It has a very cute ending where you heart melts but during the movie your heart will be pounding like if you're really into the movie. But they really couldv'e gotten a better main character, Kevin C. Was good... just not THAT good. It's a mysterious movie thats worth seeing. I'd buy that movie someday!

As a recent widow (3 1/2yrs) I found the movie depicted some of the physical effects of grief quite well. I don't know if that was intentional, but it seemed well researched. I feel widows/widowers will identify strongly with this story even if the ending was a bit unrealistic. Perhaps it would have been a bigger box office hit if it had stuck to the issue of grief and the profound effect it has on us emotionally and physically. I would describe as a poignant love story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie!! It had a little of everything... suspense, tenderness, fantasy, pain and despair... most of all an ending that none of us could figure out! Costner was wonderful in this role and the children were outstanding! Would certainly recommend it.

I think the movie is great, and I have no idea why other people don't like it (probably cuz they didn't understand or didn't pay attention at the movie) But I would say it's pretty hard to have such a surprising story in the movie industry these days. I would certainly recommend it.
