At first I thought it would be a gimmicky type of movie to see because of the 3-d effect. I was so wrong. I totally enjoyed the experience. It was like being the cameraman swooping over the crowd, over the stage, over the group. If you love music, if you appreciate the movie house experience , this is a must see.

Amazing! Probably ‘even better than the real thing’ as you’re shown details that you normally wouldn't see in a live show. The only thing is that you have to remain seated and quiet when you could stand up and sing along. That would be the ultimate U23D experience (I wish I could do it)…

Wow, what a concert, what an experience... the 3D effects are amazing and the sounds is something else. I watched it with my wife who is not a big U2 fan but we both loved it so much we would watch it again. The only rating that does justice to this concert is a 10.

My special one took me out to see it on my birthday night and, honestly, it was a very very smart choice. The selection of the songs, the image, the "raw" way of presenting the concert, almost like you were part of the audience, and sitting in the best seat... an excellent experience, you would feel the energy of the band, most likely would sing and shout with the fans. The only downside was the sound which I would have preferred to be a notch or two louder, so that the concert atmosphere would be more real.

Very well done, I just wish the band would do more to enhance the 3D experience, the masking of the Edge with the audience took away a bit from the 3D effect, but so much potential with this medium, I'd love to see a feature length movie by a major Hollywood director, something like Star Wars 3D would be pretty cool.

Simply fantastic! An absolute gem... It's the closest thing to seeing U2 live in concert... It was very captivating, and I recommend it to all!! The best Imax film I have ever seen!

WOW WOW WOW... The only negative thing about watching a concert in this fashion is that I NEVER want to go to another concert again because NOTHING will beat this cinamatographic experience... ABSOLUTE GENIUS!

I love U2. The band's presence on stage creates a feeling beyond 'cool', beyond the overwhelming. The song list will satisfy the fans. And the 3D technology is outstanding. The sound, thrilling.

It's a fantastic film in so many ways! I saw it in Toronto & it's my Top 10 of the year so far. Go SEE it - it's as if you're in the first row of the audience, & the band is right at your fingertips! And go HEAR it - the sound will blow you away!! 90 minutes of non-stop music!! It's just a real shame it's playing at the Old Port... they're notorious for having projectors that're out of focus, not to mention that it's located out of the city center.

If you are a true U2 fan, then there is NO choice - you will see it in the theatre! Better than the most expensive concert ticket you can buy - you feel like you are standing on the stage with the band members. You can see their sweat, facial hairs, every movement they make PLUS you get great shots of the audience, super special effects, and best of all, some of their greatest songs (Vertigo, Beautiful Day, Sunday Bloody Sunday, New Year's Day, One, The Fly, Bullet the Blue Sky, With or Without You and more) I was singing throughout the movie - and pumping my arms with the fans!

This is as close to being at the concert as anyone will ever feel who somehow haven't had the privilege of inhaling the sound and energy of a U2 show. I have had that privilege 6 tours, and 1 video shoot ( city of blinding lights- shot here 3 yrs ago! And this 3D movie was almost as fantastic as any of those moments (ALMOST-but not quite :) )Every U2 fan and all else must see this "UNO, DOS, très..." times. Bonosboy!

I am not a huge U2 fan but I have to say that this was a fabulous show! I also am really intrigued that they chose to shoot this on location in Argentina, of all places. I think that gave the concert a flavour that would have been absent had it been filmed in a typical Western locale. The 3D feature, while gimmicky on the surface, actually added to the spectacle and it was truly awe-inspiring to feel like one of the crowd. The only reason I did not give this a 10 is that the sound quality was not as good as it could have been. The sound lacked a fullness and depth that I would have expected from a concert event featuring a seasoned, world class band. I don't know if this is the fault of the technicians who mastered the film's soundtrack or the IMAX facility at Portage Place. It was a minor disappointment that did not detract too much from my enjoyment of the show. However, it was noticable enough to take a full point off (even 1.5 if half-points were an option)!

Utterly mindblowing. U2, 3D, and IMAX is a beautiful union of music and technology.

I thought that the price was a little steep at $15.00 nearly twice their usual fee. In addition, this came as a surprise as it was not clear on their webiste that this was not an $8.50 viewing. The movie is on the short side and to this viewer the 3-D was unnecessary and added nbo value. In addition the sound was only middling in quality. If you record a live concert for posterity at least get the sound track down tight. I can not in good faith recommend this movie unless you are a freak U2 fan and have money falling out of your butt.

I give it a 10 because I've never experienced a concert like this before. Described best as having wings, being able to experience all aspects of the show. I love much of U2s music. This takes it to a whole new level. There's a message from U2 as seen throughout the Vertigo tour ("blessed are the peacemakers...") The music spans (most) all albums of their music career. I've seen it 2x so far, plans to see it one more time. Enjoy the show!

I saw this last night and I was very impressed. I have not been so riveted by any movie in a long, long time. I was wearing a winter jacket and I did not even take it off... I figured, when there is a 5-second lull, I will take it off. There never was. I went with 4 other people, and the person I thought was beside me actually wasn't, and I did not realize until the movie had ended, because I literally did not turn my head that far once until it was over. Unlike Rattle + Hum (which I liked), there is no yakking, no other musicians. It's them and you and it feels very personal. A couple of times, Bono got right in my face. And 2 or 3 times, it was like, OK Adam, I like you, but just give me a little room please. The 3-D illusion was very good, honestly nothing 'gimmicky' was done. In 3-D they always have things flying at you, whatever. In this movie it was just used to make you feel you were there, not like you were going to get poked with a drumstick or something. The camera-work was inventive but far less flashy than Phil Joanou's in R+H and the vids he did for them. The sound where I saw it (Winnipeg, Manitoba, at Portage Place) was extremely suitable to the situation. Not uncomfortably loud, but clear and punchy, as you'd want it to be at the real show. Loud enough that I could not hear the 2 teenagers blabbing away beside me. I went there expecting the admission to be either $8.75 or $12.00. It was actually $15. So they need to update that listing, but it was absolutely very well worth it. It is playing here twice a night for the next 3 months. I will definitely go at least once more.

Wow, I really felt like I was at the concert. The 3D effect was not gimmicky, it really enhanced the experience! There are a couple of really cool stereo shots in the film. Sunday Bloody Sunday was my favourite.
