What an educational movie, so necessary for these times. I met Scott when I was in SF many years ago and he opened up the filing cabinets and materials of Harvey, to me, to keep the memory of his work alive. We need this kind of film more than ever, with recent overturning of rights in California and with who we have in mainstream power in Canada. All the players in the movie were fabulous. I do believe that more women were involved in the movement than were shown in the movie, but overall, this is an important movie about rights.

I highly recommend this movie. Very powerful and moving. Sean Penn gives a great performance.

This is simply an amazing film which couldn't be more timely, considering the political changes going on in our world right now. Sean Penn puts forward an amazing performance. A must see film.

An incredibly well crafted performance by Sean Penn. He was nearly unrecognizable in his role. And Josh Brolin and supporting cast were brilliant as well. This show is powerful and has an extremely accurate representation of 70's gay culture. It is highlighted with footage from the time.
