I'm not a big fan of David Spade, but it was a cute movie.

DAMN RIGHT IT'S A 10! Joe Dirt-ay, as it's properly pronounced, was everything you want a great movie to be: great casting (Malcom in the Middle's youngest bro as our hero in his youth), great sight gags (Joe gets a police sketch artist's rendition of his mama but it ends up "too butch"...) and GREAT HAIR--the MULLET! I'd recommend Joe Dirt to any and all for a great video nite.

Joe dirt did a great job tell the story! I thought it was sad at some parts. [...] :(

This movie was [...] Waste of time and a movie that only farmers should got and see. I would shoot myself if I had to go and see it again. Simply put. Garbage. Anyone who liked it is probably a farmer.

It had a mullet in it. Enough said.

It's Forrest Gump with an SNL spin. Should have won an oscar or ten.

Great funny I loved it sad but shocking I don't like how his parents didn't want him but I think it was the funniest movie in a long time!

Yes, I am sorry to say that I saw Joe Dirt. The title should have given me a hint. They even called it dirt. I did not find it entertaining, and felt that the producers of this film wasted everyone's time and money. Sorry to say this, as I usually can find something good in all shows.

This movie had SOME funny parts and those were not even that funny. I laughed a time or two but it was just little giggles. Really predictable and just plain stupid. If you like stupid movies then this one is for you but if not then I would not waste my money on seeing this one. It was lame and only lasted 90 minutes. This movie might catch the attention of younger people but as for more mature audiences it was a big joke.

Joe Dirt was a really funny movie. I liked it because I understood the humor and just because it was good.

It's just OK. If you really like David Spade, wait for the video.

Only 3 parts made me laugh. It's a very simple kind of humour, see stupid. Even if you like dumb movies, wait 'till it comes @ the videostore... it's not worth more than 5$... no kidding.

This is the dummest movie I ever saw. Unless your name is Mark Ringer forget it- don't even bother renting it, unless it's a freebie.

It's a movie with a few laughs but with fewer creativity; the plot was extremly predicatble with a few well placed jokes.

It's pretty mindless stuff, with only sparse moments of real laughter. I personally like David Spade and figured this is how it would be so I didn't mind, but overall, probably not worth much more than a rental.

Ok I wouldn't say it is the best, but if you are into lots of stupid things this movie is for you. I know this kind of movie isn't for me.

Even a drunken redneck with a metal plate in his head would have had better sense than the producers who greenlit this cinematic fiasco. Unfunny and utterly unwatchable unless you really hate your life. And even then, just don't. For God's sake just don't.

This movie was so clearly designed with Chris Farley in mind that I guess casting his sarcastic counterpart makes sense. More white trash jokes than the entire run of Roseanne and Saving Grace combined. Why this movie was made and why the stars who performed in it did will go down as the question on everbody's lips as they slink out of the theatres in shame.
