A hapless barber's life takes a turn for the worse when he accidentally ends up in possession of a stolen treasure of ancient coins. As he tries to figure out how to profit from this twist of fate, he encounters a series of bizarre characters, many of whom have their eyes on his treasure – and on each other. Attempting to extricate himself from a steadily – and hilariously – worsening chain of mishaps, the barber falls for the beautiful detective investigating the crime.
